First of all we really appreciated the kindness of the owners. Our truck broke down and they went out of their way to help us! The park is very clean, the sites are well spaced out, dog run area, wonderful bathrooms and laundry area, I could rave on and on. We loved the location to trails and will definitely be back.

Perfect place for an overnight visit. Right at the trail head so we can run the dogs in the morning.
This is just a parking lot so not much room.

Forest service has turned off the water to all of the campgrounds in this area. This is due to broken pipes that they are not willing to fix. Does the dump station is closed
They charge $5 to use dump station or it’s free with a fill up. Nice staff and clean facilities. The dump station is behind the gas station by the air.
Sites are too close to one another!
It was our first time at a thousand trails “resort”
They should edit the title. Definitely not a resort but just a typical rv park.

We were able to watch the sunset on the beach. Price was $22 per night. Not sure how early you would have to get here to get into the beachfront campsites, but those are beautiful! Road is narrow and most of the sites are short for a big rig. No hookups but we had cell service.

Can’t ask for more! Site #8 was so beautiful. This campground is next to the highway but it was not noisy. Campers coming and going everyday.
Good cell service (Verizon) and location for day trips. Hiking/biking trails all within an hour’s drive. Forks is only 30 minutes away and Port Angeles (our favorite) only an hour away.
If you are in the area check out the Olympic discovery adventure trail.

Please don’t be fooled.
The park now requires reservations for camping September-May.
Sort of...
We did some research and found that Bell, hidden valley and white tank are all first come first serve.
When we arrived the volunteer informed us to make a u turn because all camping was full.
I explained we just wanted to drive thru.
When we arrived at Bell campground it had 5 empty spots(not bad for the Sunday after thanksgiving at 2pm!)
Absolutely beautiful sunsets.
