Forest service has turned off the water to all of the campgrounds in this area. This is due to broken pipes that they are not willing to fix. Does the dump station is closed
I went over here to get water while boondocking by Co Rd 48. Unless you are camping in one of the adjacent campgrounds, it is a long, winding journey to get here. The dump station is $10. I gave it 2 stars because the potable water pressure is ridiculously low, at less than 1 gallon per minute. Over 30 minutes to fill four 7-gallon containers! I will go to the Leadville Sanitation dump station for my next water fill, and to dump when I leave.
