It was very windy.
Easy access for a big rig.
A little bit of Highway noise but overall pleasant.
We wold stop here again.
Or even an overnighter if we went to a concert at the gorge.
Winery's close by to tour also.
Great signal on the cell phone and 4G signal.

Nice and quiet. Minimal freeway noise. Nobody there when we arrive. A pit or vault toilet is there but we did not go in it. No trash cans so we picked up a few things to take with us. The state now charges a golden access fee to Camp there. However in the fine print if you have a handicap parking permit that fee is waived, if I read it correctly.

We stopped by for just a quick overnight. The gate was locked going down to the lake, but there was a wide area outside the gate where we parked. Interstate is loud until later in the night, may have been a bit more noticeable for us though since we have been in very quiet areas for months. Would stay again though for an overnighter.

Beautiful area! Although the site is right off of Highway 90, the traffic noise is not that noticeable and to get to the area is a very short drive down a well graveled road. Easy access for our 28ft travel trailer and our truck. Sites are not very level, but with a couple of leveling blocks we were set. It was very windy in the evening, which brought some mild dust, but not horrific. Wonderful sunset and beautiful view of the lake with the morning sun. There is a vault toilet that was clean. This area does require a Washington Discovery Pass, which you can purchase online giving you a couple of choices. You can purchase a one day pass ($12) or an annual pass ($40), both very reasonably priced. We only stayed one night, but would definitely stay here again for one or more nights.

It is free, but you must have a Discover Pass. We purchased our Discover Pass online on site, very convenient!
It was hot while we were there. With our windows open the highway can be heard.
Big rig friendly, relatively flat, outhouse, lake front view, primitive dirt boat launch.

Nice little spot with lake access for fishing or dipping your toes in. We only saw 3 other cars while we were there for 2 days, they came to fish for an hour and then left. Really pretty sunsets in this area, only 10 minutes from Vantage scenic views and the Gorge. Would definitely stay again! And the freeway noise never bothered us. You do need a Discover Pass.

We stayed at Caliche Lake a few nights ago. We've driven by it many times, but this time we decided to stop. Glad we did! The lakes are beautiful and there is room for quite a few RV's without feeling too crowded. There wasn't too much trash, but you could tell someone recently camped there who drank a lot of bottled beer. SO many caps left behind, which was a bummer. We picked some of them up... maybe the next fellow traveler will do the same.
We could hear I-90 while laying in bed, but that's why we travel with ear plugs :) No biggie.
There was a restroom, but we didn't use it. Not sure of the cleanliness.
Pack plenty of bug spray for the evenings!!
Enjoy!

We stayed just outside the zone requiring a Discovery Pass because someone pulled up in a car and started partying just as we started to set up. It was a pretty flat pullout but close to 90 so loud from road noise. Good place to walk the dogs but pond was pretty scummy. Really easy to get to though no signs. Use google maps, Apple Maps couldn’t find it.

A fisherman’s pull out on a pretty little lake surrounded by sage and a bit dusty. We observed about 6 pickups of fishermen. Several different kinds of ducks and a beautiful sunrise. The freeway is close by and we heard it but not as noisy as we expected. Great little spot.
