Found this place after a long drive from Kansas. Sites are spaced out well & roomy, rates are good. Not too far off I-72, quiet. Water pressure fine, good cell coverage.

One of these days I'll get a solar kit so I can truly enjoy these kinds of campgrounds. Loved our stay here, very quiet and lots to explore . Camp hosts outstanding as well.

We were in the Honey Flat loop for RVs. Sites are decent, shower house is well maintained. Clean, peaceful place which reminds me a bit of Utah with the red rock scenery.
We were here in a cold snap, but still were able to enjoy ourselves. Some great hiking, and when it was time to relax we made some Dutch oven chili. Great time here, we'd return again.

Loved our stay. Campsites spaced out real well, quiet, scenic & peaceful. A little over an hour to Santa Fe & Taos. Good hikes nearby as well. I don't know if we will ever be back this way, but if so, this is the place to be.

Oklahoma is so under rated. We loved it here, very close to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, which is why we picked this place.
#46 is a nice pull thru that offers afternoon shade on your rig. We were here in the springtime, so temps weren't bad but I'd definitely grab this for the heat of summer- not a lot of shade here.
Very quiet with great lakeside views. Check out the cool town of Medicine Park when you're in the area.

This wasn't our first choice when we wanted to stay near Poteau for the balloon Festival, but wow, what a nice place. Campsites are spaced out pretty well, and many are right on the lake. Shower houses need an update, but other than that it was a real nice stay.Grocery stores and restaurants about 10 miles away. Camp hosts very friendly and helpful.

Small campground on a nice lake. We loved our waterfront site, and there's quite a few of them here. The usual top quality sites we expect from the COE. Quiet place even when at capacity.
Close to Meridian or Collinsville for groceries, etc.

We really liked this place, spent a long weekend here after we got canceled out of Lockhart SP. Spacious campsites, lake views, and quiet neighbors. Vdery close to Martin Dies SP for some good hiking trails around the reservoir. We will return.

Had a fun time here. The campsites are spaced out really well, most have plenty of room for your parking needs. W & E at all the sites in the Burr Oak loop.
Lots of trails. We saw plenty of wildlife including alligators. The lakes were really low, drought conditions this year.
We had our 3 year old granddaughter, plenty for her to do. Real nice playground, a great nature center with baby alligators you can touch.
Groceries & gas about 20-30 minutes away.

Peaceful & scenic campground on Milford Lake. It's very windy here, not sure if this is normal for springtime or not.
Junction City is about 15 minutes away for groceries, fuel, restaurants, etc.
Only reason I give this 4 stars, not 5 is because the shower house is a bit of a walk from the campground loops.
Loop B was closed during our stay, but those lakefront Sites may be better than the A loop.
