We arrived 10/11/19 and was surprised how much room there was, I easily found parking for my motorhome and trailer. The back spots are the best. The area is windy with a couple of bugs but we are happy. I used google maps and had no problems getting here. A few minutes to town for supplies.

We stayed here 10/20-10/25/2020 and had a nice experience. There are garbage cans and 2 outhouses but no water or power. This are second year in a row staying here. There are no fire rings so please do not burn like some idiot tenters did last night, they broke branches off of some trees and made a fire in the road along the lake. I cleaned it up along with their trash! Please be respectful!! It’s free after all.

We followed the GPS directions and saw the road we had to turn on but the sign for the wildlife management area is old and faded so it was hard to see. The campground is about 2 miles in the road is OK but we took it slow with our 26 foot class C motorhome. The campground is just a big open space with no designated campsites and a vault toilet and there is a boat ramp. We were here in May so we had the whole place to ourselves, if you’re looking to Boondock for free then this is the place. There is no water or electric or garbage so come self prepared and pack it out.

It’s just a big dirt parking lot with huge rocks to tear up your RV. Fight jet noise all day and into the night. This place it terrible.

This park is a Good Sam member so I got a discount.The lady checking us in was nice, the office is in the Phillips 66 gas station store. I immediately noticed when being shown to our spot the grass has not been mowed yet, pretty tall! Our concrete pad had dirt and some kind of tree leaves all over it. So park grounds maintenance does not seem to be a priority. Smelly cattle pasture just across the creek😒. I will pass next time.

Update to the review I did after staying for a few hours because we left the same night. During our stay we had people partying the next site over and they kept walking through our spot and had 2 dogs not on leashes who kept bothering our dog who was on a leash. After complaining to the host who spoke with them we got verbally attacked and one guy wanted to fight me but the host did nothing about it! So feeling unsafe I demand my money back and put this dump in my rear view mirror.

The first thing I should put down is this camp ground only has three campsites. All campsites have sheltered picnic tables and a fire ring and are pretty level. There is a very clean vault toilet and garbage cans but no water no electrical. The road coming up here is a little washboard but go slow and no problems. Nice and quiet with lots of trails to explore.

This park is in the town with its back to I-15 so some road noise during the day. We were here 8/30/20 - 9/1/20 they allow a 3 day stay. There is a bathroom in the park and a grocery store about 4 blocks away. Peaceful and free. Dump station is donation only so please help keep this place green and open for all to enjoy. My 26 foot class C easily fit into the space.

We stayed here 11/01/19 in a 26ft motorhome towing a 10ft trailer and had a great rest. The exit off I-8 leads right to the road you need to be on and it’s all paved. The road is old hwy 84 so is worn but better than washboard. You come to a T and turning right will get you to a lot of spots but we we went left and found a great site by a cell tower. We felt very safe despite the warning signs of drug trafficking. Peaceful, private and four bars of cellphone service, can’t beat it.

10/11/2020 We stayed here 3 days waiting for medicine to arrive at the post office. I think it’s just for overnight but we had no choice anyway the bathrooms were open and very clean. There is space for any size rig and garbage dumpsters are located nearby. The park is well lit at night and a short walk to the c-store which has a Hot Stuff pizza store inside. The locals we met were nice. Good place!
