I would never have paid almost $90 for a campsite with no sewer but my wife wanted to try it. The huge swarms of mosquitoes along with the music and loud talking through the night was enough for us. I was glad to say goodbye. There are better places to camp!

There are two campgrounds, the one next to the casino is $24 but is quite a walk to bathrooms and showers. The campground behind the casino is where the office, bathrooms, showers and laundry are located. The spaces have nice grass and trees between them so there is a little privacy. There is a RV dump in the back of the campground and the pavement is in good condition and the whole place seems well taken care of. We will be back for sure!

This little state park can be accessed by paved and dirt roads. Any size RV can get into and park, lots of space! No hookups but 2 clean vault toilets and covered picnic tables. A lot of the sites are right on the water. The lake is 160 acre reservoir. Boating and swimming along with fishing can be done. It’s free to Montana residents and Montana state park pass holders but there is a fee for everyone else.

We followed our GPS up water Canyon Road through the residential section but then it opened up and lead right to the recreation area. Most sites have concrete picnic tables and fire rings. We stayed at a pool through right alongside a fast moving creek. Unfortunately it rained for a couple days straight before we got here So it is a little muddy. The weather is supposed to get better so we are excited to explore all the hiking trails that surround this recreation area.

Stayed here 8/9-8/10 of 2020.
This are second time staying here and it has its times of peace and quiet. The weekends are when the atv’s show up and locals party but the week days are great. There are about 4 sites suitable for big rv’s. Some sites have shelters and fire pits. Some gravel road but passable.

Warning! The road is a little rough for Rv’s. We came up in a 26 ft class C but just drove real slow the last 2 miles. Campsites are nice and will fit any rig 35 ft or smaller. Water and pit toilets are available.

We were here the beginning of May and there was no fee until May 13. Then the services start and fees are collected, only $10 per day. Road into the campground is paved, the two camping loops and all campsites are paved. There is a camp host during the season, there is trash disposal, water available and pit toilets but otherwise it is Boondocking. There are a lot of pull thru sites along with back ins. Bass creek can be heard from some campsites. Camp host also has firewood for sale.

Stayed here May 22nd to the 25th 2021 and had a nice quiet stay. The park sits along the Milk River and has two nature trails to walk and explore. The bathrooms are vault toilets but the were still closed from the winter. The parking is were ever but there are nice picnic tables and charcoal grills, we camped next to one. Water spigots and garbage cans are available throughout the park. Lots of playground equipment around so children were around playing but no bother. Grocery store and gas station are within walking distance. $5 is a bargain!!

03/01/2020. We came in with our 36 foot class C motorhome and most of the camp sites had a big birm to get over. We saw lots of trailers and 4X4 vehicles. We found a spot and it was ok but we only had 2 bars of service on our cell phones and a lot of traffic up and down the road. We didn’t stay long.

I only stayed here because of my Passport America membership. The park and bathrooms were dirty and the garbage dumpster was overflowing spilling garbage on the ground. The pool is old and needs repaired, the building where the billiard table were had dust and dirt everywhere. I had rude teenagers walking through my site. I won’t be back, there is better in Yuma like Shady Acres!!
