Confirmed by 1 users | Last reported on December 06, 2019I came here because I needed shore power for a couple of days. First off, the hookups are too far from my RV to use. The only thing I could hookup was electric. Then I found out that I wasn’t allowed to walk my dog in the park. I took him outside and the area was littered with those painful goats head thorns. The poor dog had thorns embedded in his paws making it impossible to walk him. I tried walking along the canal that borders the park but the thorns were there as well. I’m an older woman traveling alone and I certainly wouldn’t feel safe walking out there alone at night. Although I paid for two nights I’m leaving in the morning. The bathroom/shower was clean but there was only one for the entire park. This place is not very good for people with dogs.

First and foremost, management is super kind and friendly. If the trees and bushes were trimmed up and the trash around the trash bins was in the bins, maybe another star. Roads are all gravel and dirt, there are cement pads at sites. No where to walk the dogs outside of the park. Really noisy all night and day with trains, planes and automobiles. Feel bad for such a low rating because management is really nice.

While this park is older and could use a bit of a sprucing up, it had everything we needed. Sewer, water, electricity and trash. They offer a passport America discount and will give you a discount on weekly and monthly as well.
We typically boondock and go resupply to town once or twice a week.
The bathrooms were fine and there are two in the main building. The laundry was $1-1.50 and the room was clean.
The sites are gravel with a concrete pad and several citrus trees throughout the park.
If you’re looking for a fancy schmancy park, you won't find it here. But if you're looking for a night to plug back to the grid and rest; This is a good place for that. All permanent resident were nice too. I am only giving a 4star because, yes the park is older and may be not for everyone but everything worked and we had no issues.
They have a pool and a hot tub but we didn't check it out.
The location is easy to find and yes, it is noisy due to the road but that didn't bother us. We have a dog and have no issue walking around the grounds. There is even a canal right behind the park that you can get up on and walk along it. You could go for miles without any issues.
We will stay here again.

I only stayed here because of my Passport America membership. The park and bathrooms were dirty and the garbage dumpster was overflowing spilling garbage on the ground. The pool is old and needs repaired, the building where the billiard table were had dust and dirt everywhere. I had rude teenagers walking through my site. I won’t be back, there is better in Yuma like Shady Acres!!
