This is a great campground! Lots of walking trails, dog friendly and part of a county park. Lots to do...bring a bike!
We stopped here for an overnight stay and absolutely love it. Very clean, quiet, nice and helpful staff. There is an arcade, swimming pool, very nice playground, nice dog park and a pond. Easy to get to off 81 and there is a Pilot at the exit with both Diesel and gas…pumps are easy to get into and out of. The sites are very well maintained, ours was pretty level and most of the others look pretty level. I didn’t notice anyone having to employ crazy level techniques. We were in site 114. Would recommend anyone to stay here.
This is an awesome campground! Very clean and well kept...quiet. Nice dog run area! No playground for kids, but very nice creek running through that will be great for playing in during summer months. Bring your own fire ring though because most of the sites do not have them. We will definitely stay here again.
We stayed in this park for 1 night. It is very clean, level sites, and the laundry/bath house are also very clean. You have to pay for the shower-.50 for 5 mins. The laundry is very nice and they have commercial machines. We stayed in site 25 and had no issues with noise, Internet, etc. The staff is very friendly. There is no pool or playground...which we didn’t need. The camp is very convenient to the town. We will definitely stay here again.
We loved this campground! It’s basic...there is no pool or playground etc...but it is surrounded by national forest and is absolutely beautiful. We weren’t there much so it worked out perfectly for us. They have full hookup and electric only sites as well as tent sites. It seemed that most people were able to level well except on site 6(i think)...it seemed that site was very backward sloping and there was a leveling issue. We were in site 3 and we leveled just fine. It was soooo quiet! The bath house is nice and clean. We will definitely stay here again.
This place is more like a junk yard with some hookups. There are no family type amenities here. Our site was in the middle of the road and almost touching the camper perpendicular to us... The people are very friendly but their website very much overstates what you get. There is a cafe. Skip coming here and go to the buffalo bill recreation area. Sites are first come first serve but its a nice area.
We stayed for 1 night as we passed through. The sites are a little tight for my liking. Our door was basically right next to the sewer of the next site. That was not idea. That said, the staff was friendly and the bathhouse was clean. The play area could use some updating and refreshing. It has a nice dog area. Very basic campground. The town of Higginsville is about 5 miles north and there is a Walmart there.
This is a great little campground.. the bathrooms are very clean, the staff is ultra friendly and they have a great common area full of games, a pool, etc. There are plenty of things to eat around and there is an Irish Pub/Celtic center right down the street!!! We stayed in site 51 and it was plenty big enough. We stayed 1 night.
