Campground is within sight (and, unfortunately also sound) of I-70. Very convenient to reach and leave the campground. It is on Old Highway 40, which is just a few feet beyond where the west-bound exit ramp ends at highway #13. The sites are long (our 43' RV and two vehicle fit easily once we unhooked), but a bit narrow. We had 50-amp service, water, and sewer. The owners are expanding the number of sites, which will provide several additional full-utility sites that are farther from I-70 and likely to be much quieter. Also, our site was right next to the interstate and thus probably also the sites most exposed to noise from interstate traffic. The hosts/owners were very helpful and friendly. I managed to lock my wife and me out of the RV, so I walked to the office to inquire about local locksmiths. The owner then followed me back to my rig and unlocked the door with one of the master keys he has. He refused any compensation and wished me a good night after assuring me that he and many others had done the same and that I was not the idiot I believed that I was. My in-laws have stayed here many times over the years and I now understand why. I would never hesitate to overnight, or stay here for a few, or more, days in the future.

We camped with a group here. Our site was quite uneven. We never did get really level. Our neighbors said they tried leveling in their first site, gave up and tried three others before finding one that was better.
The price was right, and they had a small pool and fenced dog area. But the community room we used was dirty and had cockroaches. The owners were nice to us, but they gave some of our group members grief because they arrived too early (before 1 pm). The wifi never worked for us, and the sewer cap at our site (45) was broken. It smelled pretty bad before we hooked up.
If I needed a spot right off the highway for one night, and I could level my rig, this would do. But they need to spend some time on the existing campsites and not just focus on the expansion. Leveling the existing sites seems like common sense to me.

This place was just what we needed when we needed it. We had a messed up day and found ourselves with no place to stop late in the day. After some phone calls this place had one spot left. The office person was exceptionally nice and took our info over phone, then told us our info and receipt would be on office door when we got in late. “Perfect”
Pulled in after 8 and info was there. Kind of figured we would get bad site as it was last one. Not the case, we had a nice rock pull through with full (50 amp) hook up. We got to relax and get a good nights sleep for the next day.

We needed full hook-up as our water pump wasn’t working. Place was nice and clean. Showers were small but clean. Could here some freeway noise. It had a place to fish while you were there without a permit and the pool was open. Directions were easy but going west after crossing over the freeway the right turn for Old Highway 40 was right after the 70 E freeway off ramp. We missed it, thought we were going to go the wrong way on the freeway.

The owners were very nice, very organized and made a recommendation to change the site I had selected online to another. We did. The grounds were rolling hills of fresh cut grass surrounding ponds in which you could fish. Some sites had trees but not many. Our rig is 41 feet so that’s good.. The facilities were very clean and had everything you needed, baths, showers and laundry. There is a nice bar and grill open on the weekends. The pool is well kept. Great place for a night or a weekend. We would stay here again. Our site was very level and great ingress egress for big rig turning. We had cell service, Wi-Fi cable channels. Especially weather channel. Even though it was next to the Interstate it was quiet enough. All sites had fire rings.

We stopped here for a night on the way home, staff was very friendly, had a great central site, and was easy to get to from the highway. Pool was very nice and refreshing and bathrooms and laundry were excellent. Spaces were nice and spread out.

Handy stopover with long pull throughs. Some sites appear level, others are not. Nice ponds, dog park, and playground. We didnt use the facilities, but they appear to be in good order.
We stayed for 1 night as we passed through. The sites are a little tight for my liking. Our door was basically right next to the sewer of the next site. That was not idea. That said, the staff was friendly and the bathhouse was clean. The play area could use some updating and refreshing. It has a nice dog area. Very basic campground. The town of Higginsville is about 5 miles north and there is a Walmart there.
