All the reviews said it was a bumpy road and fill of partiers. Well the road is definitely bumpy and if you don’t have a 4x4 I def wouldn’t try it. Another with an attached trailer is also not suggested. When you first pull on the property you will see a large rusted pipe keep going when you come to the fork I suggest parking/camping there. The walk from there is pleasant and only about 1.5 miles, but it is nice views. There was a point we crossed about waist deep by foot to keep going. After you pass the bridge on your left keep going you are almost there. There was some trash (I suggest bringing a trash bag and help the cause to keep it clean) the cool creek and hot springs make the perfect relaxing environment surrounded by beauty.

When we first pulled in we went straight. The first site in your right is the best spot for big rigs or groups. There are two more defined spots down the road then the roads start to branch off. Just be AWARE that the further you go back the rougher it gets. I would not suggest a fire here even if allowed. It is very dry and dust, but the views are great taking whether it’s day or night.

Pull In Spots No Drive Through a, But Drive Through Spots Near By In Bear Den On Here. Not Enough Sun For Solar Power. AT&T Wifi Worked Well Here. Gets A Little Soggy When It Rains. If This Spot Isn’t Open Keep Driving There Are Tons Of Sites! But far enough away you don’t hear any one else.

Has a hey turn around, establish fire rings, picnic tables, and a pit toilet. Two spots at the end right on the water but it does get windy. A total of five spots. If you like fishing or canoeing this place is perfect. Starlink worked well AT&T Internet did not.

There is lots of land just watch out during rainy season cause it does get mushy. According to some random man on a motorcycle if you are in front of site 8 whether you have a reservation or no he will set up camp cause he swears it is camp site 7 and the map/city is wrong. He comes often and will take over.

Cleanest Flushing Toilets And Bathrooms I’ve Been To Yet. All The Sites Pull Through. The Only Drawback Is Many Pull through sites have two sites, So You Might Be Close To Someone. They All Come With A Fire Pit And Picnic Table. And Even Have Trash I Gets Picked Up Every Day. Even have water fountains throughout the campsites but they are turned off for the winter. We were worried about her Internet for work with AT&T to only two bars but have had no problem streaming video.

Someone lost a gray cat with green eyes and rings around its tail. It’s still here January 2022 kind of skittish and comes through the front sites a couple times a day. So if you come back for them you will prob see them.
We stayed for a while only one other camper stayed for part of it. People do drive through (which is kinda weird to be honest) about 4-10 times a day. Each site has a table and fire ring. There is a Porto pot, but definitely was not even going to use it as a option. Lots of sun for solar our AT&T wifi worked just find (it did not at the river sites close by)town is close enough to go if you need anything. No pull through sites, but each site has a large pad you can back into (even big rigs)

You will definitely see wild horses! Please keep your distance as they are wild animals. The water is turned off during off season even if it’s not freezing, so don’t expect the showers to be running even if you get a camping spot.
Fun and quick stop off the highway. They sell spray paint there ($7), but honestly people will hand you their left overs as they leave.
