I found myself laid over in Grand Junction with mechanical problems. I was tickled to find this RV Park at a reasonable price for the amenities. As others have said, it is new and still under construction, but the location on the river next to the park and walking path make up for the lack of landscaping. It was rainy today and a bit muddy, but that is to be expected on the Colorado plateau unless you prefer pavement. The clean restrooms with hot showers were wonderful as well as the laundry facilities. Also very dog friendly.

I wish I had read the reviews before paying the $60 camping fee. Looks like I could’ve stayed for free had I registered at the casino first. But otherwise a nice overnight stop with clean restrooms.

This resort is right on the river with plenty of easy access. Our sites, #43, 45, &46 were beautifully located on the river but very small! No privacy between neighbors. The restrooms are all very clean with free showers. Also very dog friendly with grass areas that pets are welcome on.

Great find after 400 miles of driving and getting dark. I was happy to find a safe place to boondock off the freeway but not totally isolated. Certainly not a destination but a fairly quiet place to get some sleep.
Can’t beat the price of only three dollars for seniors with an inter-agency pass. All sites have a shade covering over the tables. Bathrooms are clean and have composting toilets, no smell. Only about 50% occupied on a Saturday in February.

A long, winding road to the campground but worth it!
Be warned, many of the sites are not level .

I stopped here, unplanned but too tired to keep going. Many sites available, both tent and full hookups. On a budget, I opted for a basic tent site to save some $$. Sadly I was charged $39 for a spot which included $11 “reservation” fee. I questioned that charge since I did not make a reservation but was told it was added to all sites whether reserved in advance or walk up.
Bathroom was clean; additional fee for the showers.

I was excited to camp here and take my dog to the water. Lots of available campsites with hook ups, which was nice. But all of the trails are closed and the dog beach was closed due to construction. So frustrating to not be able to get access to the lake with my pup. Not sure when the construction will be completed.
