This was a very nice KOA to stay at. Not only is it quite large, it is easy to access, the sites are large, paved, and each one has a nice grass area with a table. They have buddy camping sites for people camping with others which is a nice addition as well as very clean and beautiful amenities such as a pool, hot tub, bocce ball area and basketball court to name a few. It’s gated which limits who can come in after hours. They make it very easy to check in after hours and it is easy to navigate the campground. It is right up against I5 so there is a good amount of interstate noise, but if you can tune that out and enjoy the campground it’s a great place to stay.

This was a very nice campground to stay in. Coming in was a bit tight but once inside the campground everything opened up. Surrounded by beautiful scenery, we were able to check in after hours and get to our site. In front of our site was a little trail to the beach and we enjoyed a nice walk along the beach before settling in for the night. The downside of our site was that it was too slanted for our jacks so we could only partially level ourselves out. Many other reviews talked about the homeless population and the noise from the lighthouse. Neither were issues when we were there. In the distance you could hear a faint fog horn but it was not loud enough to hear unless it was absolutely silent and you were listening hard for it. The campground was very clean and beautiful. The sites were quite large and had picnic tables available for use. Very peaceful and relaxing.

This RV park will get the job done if you have no other options or if you need a place to just sleep for a night. It looks as though it is mainly long term individuals who are parked there. On quick inspection the site we were put into looked clean but once we parked and got out we noticed lots of dog poop, rusty nails, q-tips, and bottle caps everywhere. We have a small dog and we both had to go out with him, one to watch and guide him and the other to watch out for off leash dogs coming out from around other campers. Several dogs were kept on longer leashes outside for a few hours and barked constantly until they were let back in. Between noise from your neighbors, the gas station up front and the highway it was quite loud. It was within walking distance of the beach and the boardwalk, which was nice, but I would not recommend staying here if you have children, but if you don’t and need a place in a pinch this place will work.

Fun place to stop for all ages. Highly recommend doing the guided tours. While they show you the same parts of the factory as the self guided tour, they take you into a private room for a tasting of their special reserve cheeses which is not available for the self guided tours. Great food and ice cream as well if you get hungry while there.

Good spot to camp if you are looking for easy access to crabbing. RV spots have water and electricity hook ups. They also face the marina providing nice scenery. The spots get tight quickly as people pull in since it is a park side by side in the lot. They make it easy to go crabbing as you can rent a boat or just traps. With the crabbing rentals they provide equipment and you can purchase your license. Very friendly staff and mostly clean sites. It is right off highway 101 and is quite noisy throughout the night.

Great place to rent ATVs. They provided a discount if you stay at the KOA next door. They get you all set up with equipment and teach you how to use your vehicle before you head out. Great staff, very friendly and a wonderful stop for the whole family to burn some energy!

Nice campground on the Oregon coast. Great access to the dunes and located right next to Steve’s ATV rentals. We got a discount at Steve’s because we were staying at the KOA. They also made it easy for us to park our RV then walk over and rent a side by side ATV. Getting into our spot was very challenging though. We were in a 26’ RV and with all the way roads we had to 5 point turn into our end pull through spot. When we went to leave we realized it was a tight enough turn that we couldn’t pull through and leave without scraping a tree across the entire rooftop and left side of our RV. We ended up backing out and doing another 5 point turn to exit the spot. We also didn’t realize that our spot was so close to the highway, but being tucked in the back corner away from the dunes produces a lot of highway noise. Overall though a nice place to stay if you are coming to ride the dunes as they do allow you to ride your ATVs, Quads etc up to your campsite.

Very nice place to camp along the Oregon coast. Easy to access, large sites, beautiful views and lots of amenities. Close to the city so if you wanted to run into town to explore you easily can. Also a quiet campground even during spring break which allows for relaxation and enjoying the nature around you.

Campground was nice, clean and once you found it easy to navigate. It is in a residential area and getting to the main office is a bit confusing. The campsites were nice, clean and spacious. They placed us at a very nice site with our own personal puppy pen, which allowed us to set up our fire inside the pen area and let our dog run around off leash for a bit. This KOA also has water to fill and dump sites at each camp site so even in off season you will be able to fill/dump. Since the campground was in a residential area there were people walking through it to get to the neighborhood late into the night. The campground is also on the landing route for the Missoula airport and there is a train track close by. Between the airport, city noise and trains it was quite loud; but did quiet down around 11:30 pm.

Nice campground, clean, easy to find, and spacious sites. Laundry is available 24/7 and they have several clean and large machines, which make it easy to get your laundry done. They have several other nice amenities, most of which are closed during off season, but are great for in season camping. It is right off the main road and there is some road noise, but nothing too terrible.
