Pretty rustic . They have some cabins with a creek running through, nice dog area, a pond (quit green while we were there) ok for small campers. We were in a 40ft class A. This is not really made for this. had a very hard time getting it level, at that, the back end was way off the ground.. Not worth what they are asking to stay there.
This park is an ok place to stay for a home base, or short term. It is very noisy as it is right on a very busy main road, even hard to sleep without some kind of background noise.
Nice place, friendly people, also doing some nice upgrades. The exit area in the park needs to be widened to accommodate larger RVs towing.
The area had a lot of rain while and just before we arrived. the lots are grass, small and close together and were very muddy. The dog park was a lake.
We visited here on our winter travels. Very interesting place to visit. It's very nice to see and learn things about what the Turtles go through in their lives and all of the dangers along the way. We also watched them operating on one turtle with boat cut wounds and sudden cold temperature changes. I believe I heard that when Texas received their cold blast recently, a lot of turtles came here to rehabilitate. Keep up the good work.
Very nice place. Large enough for large RV's also or cozy enough for the woodsy outdoors.
Very nice place. Has a nice small lake for fishing. Also have RV repair shop onsite for minor repairs. We had an issue with our air system for the brakes, and their people helped us out with a temporary fix to get us to the repair shop. Thank you so much for the help.
Very nice campground with a lot open land. The owner was very helpful getting us in after dark into a temporary site. We have a 40' class A, then we he helped us move in the morning. The roads getting to the campground with this size coach are hairy at night, very narrow. If your looking for a nice wooded campground, this is the place. It does not have WiFi and cell service is very weak and we thought the cost was quit high. $50.00 a night. We were here during the Corona Virus outbreak so none of the activities were available. There is a huge lake with water park and several small fishing ponds.
I would never stay here again. The electrical is in need of extreme update, everybody just parks where they want, had to dig out my sewer connection.
Pretty nice place to stay if your on your way to the Grand Canyon. Was quit damp when we were there and with all the red dirt, was very messy.
