This was our first experience camping in Mississippi, my home state. Easy to get in and out. Got a $5 discount for being a veteran. Enjoyed this little campground with easy access to nearby Biloxi, beaches, and restaurants.

The Jennings Ferry Campground is typical of the Army Corps of Engineers: pristine, spacious sites with water and electric, no sewer at each site, but there is a convenient RV dump in the park. I am here training as a volunteer camp host for the COE, so my site was provided to me. The sites are $24 and $26 (water front) per night and those with national park passes (Golden Age, Interagency Access, etc) get a 50% discount. Very quiet & peaceful, but off the beaten path. Boating and fishing always available to the public ($5 day use fee) and campers. Great Verizon signal with 17.5 Mbps download & 17.0 Mbps upload speeds.

We camped here over Thanksgiving 2022. Lovely, peaceful, beautiful maple trees with brilliant colors.

There are two completely separate areas: River Side and Lake Side. The River Side is the opposite of spacious, with narrow roads, but you have to drive into this area to use the dump station. The Lake Side campsites are huge in comparison with some big open spaces for kids and pets to stretch their legs.

Nice folks working as camp hosts. Very attentive. They stopped by when they saw my awning deployed with a heads up regarding a forecast of high winds for the next day.

They call you the day before your arrival to see if you would like to check in early and pay the balance over the phone before arrival; and they provide the gate code for those who might arrive after the gates are close.

Only water and electric provided. My $28 daily fee included a 20% discount for ages 62 and older.

Not terribly crowded In late February 2023, but the sites are quite close together.

Price reflects 50% off for National All Access (Disabled) Pass. Arrived late evening on Thanksgiving Day without a reservation. The volunteer camp host, Steve, met me at the gate within minutes and guided me to my site. Site #30 is SO long, I just pulled straight into the site, truck first, since it was too dark to see how to back in. My LevelMate Pro showed that the site was perfectly level before I even got out of my truck. The next morning I backed out of the site, then backed the camper into the paved site with a massive crushed gravel picnic area with a large picnic table, food prep table, grill, and fire ring. Only 3 stars for location, since it’s miles from nowhere. Check out my pictures!
