Nice fam camp. Easy access to the the commissary, exchange and other base amenities. Used the base auto hobby shop for some repairs. Dave, Jesus and the other guys were great and helped me out with my repairs. The camp could use a shower upgrade. One shower is just not enough but they were clean. All of the machines in the laundry room worked well but only take coins. There is a doggy wash station and propane on site. The park is ok but they need another one for larger dogs. All in all we enjoyed our stay. The fam camp staff,, Joe, Hong and Brandi were great and made us feel welcome.

Sites are on top of each other, all amenities were clean and in working order and not far from the gym, commissary, exchange and gas station. They seem to enjoy charging late fees. I understand the need so as not to have freeloaders but to charge a late fee for being five minutes late is ridiculous. Especially when the staff act as if it's funny. It's not funny to us vets who live on the road on a fixed income. Staff act as if you are a hindrance, no sense of feeling welcome. Maintenance staff was great but the office staff need to go, to include the manager.

Staff was extremely professional, friendly and helpful. The BX, Commissary and gas station staff were just as great. The grounds are incredible. The only complaint is the restrooms and showers. The staff informed us that the situation was going to be taken care of. Because of the staff and the grounds I'm still giving them 5 stars. Can't blame everyone else for one lazy individual.

Staff act as if you are a burden to them during check in process and during entire stay. No sense of military unity. I had planned on staying until Tuesday and had told the female that but she only put me in till Monday. I did not check my reciept. She had only booked till Monday. Due to needing vehicle repairs I went to the front desk around 12:00pm to extend for a day and that is when I was told I was receiving a late charge of $34.00! I tried to explain that I thought I was paid till Tuesday morning but it fell on deaf ears. So I had to pay the fee for someone's mistake.. The only consistency is people driving around at 10:00 am to give you a notice for late charges at 10:01 am. Everybody wants to nickle and dime you and this place is no exception. I will never return. Worst famcamp I have ever visited.

Stayed here for two nights and it worked for us to get some rest. It's basically a lot next to the inn and right next to the road. The road noise could be an issue for some but not for us. This is definitely a no frills stop but what it lacks in appearance is made up for with customer service. The staff are incredible and very personable. We got some heavy rain the first night and we had a little lake Erie outside our door. I asked if they had pallets around cause we had a few inches of water all around our camper. The staff made a special run for us and, voila, there were three pallets waiting for us when we returned from visiting the visitor center and Monument Rock. The town of Oakley is great and the people were friendly. One last note: if your sensitive to the smells of nature, just go to the front desk and buy their "Cow Crap Spray". It works and is worth the money. They also offer a home cooked breakfast for $5.00 and it's worth it.

Sites are spaced out pretty well but they appear to be neglected. Water and 30 amp had no issues. The bathrooms and showers were pretty bad, probably worst then normal due to Labor Day campers. Typical loud and rude campers, the kind that have no sense of common courtesy. The park is very pretty and close to shopping for supplies. Paid $24.00 a night with military discount and a bs reservation fee of $6.00. Everyplace seems to nickle and dime you.

We normally boondock with our 5x8 ctc but decided to spoil ourselves after Death Valley. This place is great. The staff are awesome, all amenities are spotless, the grounds are gorgeous and your close to shopping. We felt like ants parked amongst the huge rigs here but our neighbors were welcoming and non snobbish. The wifi is ok and I got a few bars on Verizon which is good enough for us. We will come back and stay much longer.

The camp is very clean and well maintained as are the showers and restrooms. The camp host, Gerry, is out there every morning cleaning them and is a real good guy. He has some good info on the area. Javier got us checked in and he also is a really good guy. All the staff we dealt with were great. Sites are pretty level and we had no issues with 30amp or the water. There is no sewer but a dump station is close by. Stayed here for five days and explored the area. You need to check out Wilson, Lucas and Sylvan Grove. Each town has their own little unique sites.

The staff is awesome and very laid back. A true feeling of being welcomed. We stayed in site 14 and had no issues with the hook ups. They have a great store with a huge selection of really cool items with gas and a DQ attached to the main building. They don't sale beer or tobacco, if that's an issue, just get what you need in Lordsburgh or Deming. Definitely could use some upkeep at the sites but for $12.00 a night, it's a bargain. Just make sure to purchase some items from the store cause that seems to be their main revenue to keep this stop over from having KOA prices. Love this place.

Came here for my God Daughters graduation from NM Tech. Didn't realize the ceremony was being held at this complex. Very well maintained and the staff are incredible. Special thanks to Steve who went out of his way to help us out when my starter died. Took me to the Autozone and hooked me up with Antonio who is a great guy and mechanic. Everything worked and I could not be happier. Make sure you get a breakfast burrito at Blake's if you're here.
