Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on September 24, 2023We stayed one night and that was enough. No bathrooms since they’re all broken, and there’s a motel there so not sure if they had bathrooms. Pool empty because of leaks last year, no power where we landed but switched over to the empty space next to us. In the evening it was cool enough to turn off the air and open the windows, but couldn’t because of the cow manure stench.
Very basic but good on a budget for a short time.

This was a very convenient location for our trip to CO. They are open year-round. The people in the lobby were very friendly. The price included breakfast which was homemade biscuits and gravy, egg casserole, cereals (hot and cold), coffee, juice, yogurt and more. The downside is the adjacent road is quite busy and the spots are really small. I'd recommend staying as far off-road as possible. Great for a short stay. They have an outdoor pool in summer months which my kids would have loved.

We stayed at this park as we traveled toward southwest Kansas from northeast Colorado. We spent part of the day hiking at Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park, so this park was the closest option to stay. We knew from the time we reserved that we were basically going to be staying in the parking lot outside the Inn, and that was true.
When we arrived and checked in at the Inn, the gentleman working was very nice and said we could come over for breakfast in the morning for an extra $5 if we wanted. The campsites were not full, so he let us choose which one we wanted of any of the remaining sites. Some were full of puddles from the previous days of rain, so we chose site 12, which didn't have much standing water.
Though not the most picturesque location, it gave us everything we needed at the most affordable price we experienced throughout our trip. We were able to rest very comfortably on a hot evening with our full hookups and were able to fill up/empty out before being without hookups for a handful of days.
Even though there were a few other RVs on the grounds, I don't think most of them were occupied. The ones that were full seemed to be occupied with quiet campers, so we didn't hear anything (including road or hotel noise) all evening. We slept well and were able to get on the road early the next morning.
Our hope with camping is to stay in places with more ambience, hence my answer of not camping here again in the future, but we really did love the affordable price and felt very safe while we stayed.

We were looking for an inexpensive campsite with hookups and this fit the bill. It is basically a gravel lot with no shade, tables, etc. No frills, but with the temperature at 102 at 7pm, we very much appreciated the ability to power our A/C.

Great place for an overnighter. Gravel parking. 50 amp or 30 amp plus water and sewer. Can’t beat the price at $22

This was okay for an overnight but wouldn’t stay longer. Great price. Had water, sewer, 50 or 30 amp hook up. Wi-Fi was weak and kept kicking us off. Staff was friendly.
Only problem was really the road noise as it is right on a busy road and right across street from a bar.
Suggestion is to pick farthest lot away from road if staying here.

Stayed here for two nights and it worked for us to get some rest. It's basically a lot next to the inn and right next to the road. The road noise could be an issue for some but not for us. This is definitely a no frills stop but what it lacks in appearance is made up for with customer service. The staff are incredible and very personable. We got some heavy rain the first night and we had a little lake Erie outside our door. I asked if they had pallets around cause we had a few inches of water all around our camper. The staff made a special run for us and, voila, there were three pallets waiting for us when we returned from visiting the visitor center and Monument Rock. The town of Oakley is great and the people were friendly. One last note: if your sensitive to the smells of nature, just go to the front desk and buy their "Cow Crap Spray". It works and is worth the money. They also offer a home cooked breakfast for $5.00 and it's worth it.

There were no available sites at the campground, but we were allowed to park near the restroom/showers for 1/2 off regular price since we were a small truck camper and self-con tained. We tried the shower but there was no hot water in men's room. We slept well. Very little noise. The next morning, we had free coffee and a hot meal for the two of us for only 5 dollars each. Afterward, we visited the Buffalo Bill museum and the fossil museum in Oakley. Both are free and worth the time.

Just off US 40 and 2 miles from I 70 make this easy-to-get-to spot a real find, especially last-minute. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Didn’t notice US 40 road noise on Wednesday night. Hookups are in the center of islands with pull throughs on either side. Not as complicated as it sounds and well-marked. Adjoining motels looks nice and is pet-friendly as well. May try $5 breakfast at the Inn…it’s highly recommended.

It is nothing fancy but had full hook up and good wifi for the price of $21.50. We were able to cook dinner and breakfast, take showers and sleep in the AC. The biggest downside was the occasional smell of livestock but easy to forgive for the other benefits received and the price.
