Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on April 02, 2024This is the middle of nowhere, just off of I-10, and near Bowlin's Butterfield Station, which is a gas station, gift shop, and Dairy Queen restaurant. Stop in to register and pay the $12 fee and go find a spot. There are thee casita style buildings located west of the station. The first two have water electric and sewer. The last casita is dry camping with no hookups. This is wide open desert and there is some traffic noise and train noise, but far enough away to not be bothersome. Nothing fancy and somewhat neglegted, but full hook-ups for $12 is great for overnight.

Just the basics for $12. Several sites power didn’t work. Noise of the highway and train didnt bother us. Looks to have a few long term but the one we met was very helpful and friendly. There are no bathrooms here. Dairy Queen on site is substantially higher than other places. Store employees are very kind.

Great little find. When you pull into the parking lot/ Dairy Queen keep to your right going through the parking lot and you'll see the dirt road and a little, little sign. Find a spot and pay inside the store gas station.

*Found this place using RV Parky.
Go into the gas station to pay for a site. You then proceed to the campground and find one that fits your needs. I added a picture of the spots and what each spot has to offer. For $12(+tax) [w/e/s], we felt like it was a steal.

The staff is awesome and very laid back. A true feeling of being welcomed. We stayed in site 14 and had no issues with the hook ups. They have a great store with a huge selection of really cool items with gas and a DQ attached to the main building. They don't sale beer or tobacco, if that's an issue, just get what you need in Lordsburgh or Deming. Definitely could use some upkeep at the sites but for $12.00 a night, it's a bargain. Just make sure to purchase some items from the store cause that seems to be their main revenue to keep this stop over from having KOA prices. Love this place.

We Arrived At 1130 Pm And The Gas Station Was Closed. Lots Of Dry Camping/truck Stop Type Parking, But Didn’t See Any Signs Or Directions To An RV Park With Electric Hook-ups.
Very Friendly Folks. Huge Store With Dairy Queen attached. Still $12 Per Night With a mix of hookups. Some Spots With Electric Only, Some With Electric And Water And So On. Check In At The Store And They Have A Legend That Will Tell You What Hookups The Sites Have Before You Go To Camping Area.

Campsites are west of station on dirt road, nothing special pretty much just desert camping with full hookups for $12. Stop in store and they will direct you to area to pick out your spot. A little freeway noise and no other facilities but you can’t beat the price.
