We couldn't believe this place was not really listed anywhere. We happened upon it and loved it. The sites are all clean, great, and beautiful. Close to so many great things in Tahoe. We stopped only for the night on our way to Tetons but were so happy with it we plan on making a trip back and exploring Tahoe. The people who run it are VERY helpful. They have a great little trail, stream running through the place and even a sand volleyball area. A real little gem!

We were told we wouldn't be able to get in but we go in with no problem. Each day there we noticed there were great spaces that opened up so don't count it out as an option. There is a lake, a great store, grocery store, boat rentals, a beach, and of other great stuff. The location was perfect. We spent part of our visit hiking around the Tetons and a few days in Yellowstone. Our spot had a lot of privacy-we chose not to have hookups but there are spots with hookups if you choose.

We had a great time here! So relaxing and peaceful! Quiet, spaces very far apart. We loved our stay, can’t wait to return. However, the way Google maps sent us was WAY the wrong way. We went the wrong way which was very hard on the trailer and took about 30-45 minutes longer.

We went here because we were told people were getting turned around by several rangers who no longer were allowing camping at George’s Gift. Disappointed we headed here on a recommendation by a local. We we beyond pleased with the amount of options for amazing sites. It was hard to choose there were so many! If you are willing to drive back further there are cliff sites with plenty of room and no neighbors in site for many. You could spend days just hiking sound here. I am including photos of our hike around the area. So great!

We were very excited to camp here after reviews and understood we needed to just drive past the signs that say no camping but there was a line of rv’ers coming out saying several rangers were driving around and kicking everyone out so I believe there really is no camping here any longer. But to be fair we did not drive back there. So enter at your own risk. We just didn’t want the hassle of setting up and then getting kicked out when there are a few other amazing options without the confusion or hassle.

Amazed to find this gem hidden off the beaten path. Everything we read was right on in regards to finding it and everything else. It was beautiful, clean (except for all the glass) with great hiking and climbing. We had planned to spend our trip at Joshua Tree after one day there the government shut down the park so we did some quick research and were so glad to find this place. Not disappointed one bit.

Clean place, friendly staff, quick access to I-15. Perfect for an overnight stop.

If you like RV parks this place is great, if you have need for pup care while camping this place is great, if you’re an rv’er on their way to many of the amazing Boondocking spots this is a great place to stop. The adorable town is within walking distance for some eating and shopping. There’s a brewery next door for delicious food, great atmosphere and thirst quenching beer after a long days hike. This RV park satisfies many different camping styles and appetites of the rv’er.
The minuses; a train goes by, sites we had were uneven, and well…it’s an RV park which isn’t our flavor of rv’ing except for stopover. And it beyond hit the bill for that. Facilities were super clean. The staff was very nice. It’s also pretty awesome that they have dog daycare although we didn’t use it so no review on that.

This was a great spot with access to many different spots.The host was so kind and the amenities were great. Our spot was great, not exactly views of the ocean but right off it, extra big with a trail right off our site.

Wish we could have stayed here more then one night. The people there working were incredibly sweet and helpful! The site we had was large, spacious, not too close other sites and beautiful! Was a gem of a find and the town near there was adorable!
