Huge! Gigantic! Amazingly beautiful!
While driving along the highway, we were greeted by the view of these very big wind turbines! It's located roughly 8-10 hours drive north of the capital and is pretty secluded. We still had to drive for about 20 minutes towards the shore before we reached the base of one of the turbines.
Definitely a great stop on your road trip to Ilocos.
AMAZING!!
From Puerto Princesa city proper, you need to drive or hire a van for about an hour, take a pump boat for a few minutes then ride a small banka (row boat) to explore and go inside the subterranean river. While it sounds tiring and cumbersome, the sight and experience is totally worth it!
The tour inside the cave lasted for about 45minutes.
One of the Philippines' most beautiful and important cultural and historic attraction! Imagine a place that was built over 2000 years ago in some of the most difficult terrain and remains functional until now. It's very captivating, impressive and beautiful that even though it takes us over 10 hours of continuous driving on partly rough terrain to reach, I have been to this place three times already and plans to go back again if/when I have a chance.
If there's only one place you have to visit in this country aside from the beaches, I would say this is the place.
We went to Niigata for a good 3days 2nights winter getaway and we chose to stay at this hotel. It was a pretty big hotel with complete amenities including ski gear rental, a ski slope right on the hotel's vicinity, restaurant and even a proper onsen (hot spring).
Since we were staying at the hotel, we also got some pretty good discount on gear rentals plus the fact that they have free shuttle service to and from other resorts and Echigo-Yuzawa station. They also have their own waiting/pickup area very near Echigo-Yuzawa station to keep you warm while waiting for the shuttle service.
Shopping galore!
We went there as part of our Hakone trip and it was great! If you get the Hakone Freepass for your trip to Hakone, you can get here without any additional expense.
Although there were tons of people around, it never felt crowded as the place is pretty big and spacious. Most of the outlet shops are designer brands with pretty decent inventories too. Overall a great place to do some shopping when in the Hakone area.
Simply Amazing!!
It was a long trip from Tokyo but was totally worth it. We arrived there almost at the end of the Tulip festival and although some flowers were already past its peak, the park was still very beautiful. It was so different from everything we saw in Japan that I almost felt like we were somewhere else.
If you are planning to visit Japan during spring, this should definitely be in your list of places to visit.
The appearance and ambiance of the place might not be what you would expect from a place serving good food but the Chicken Wings is to die for! The Pork Belly is sinful and the innards are crazy crispy delicious!!
For people who hate eggplants, you should try and order their Eggplant dish. It's so good, you might change your mind! :D
Located inside an exclusive village, we went there for desserts after a good meal on a nearby shop. The cupcake we had was great and all the drinks were very good too! Not to mention the beautiful decor and ambiance of the cafe!
One of the newest addition to the ever growing number of establishments in Tagaytay. It was very crowded when we were there and the rides were limited. Although we had a very good view of the scenic Taal Lake and Volcano.
From it's humble beginnings, this place has grown into one of the must visit places when visiting Tagaytay. Good food in a very beautiful setting... and the place is big enough to accommodate a lot of customers without feeling cramp!
Definitely worth a stop or even a trip! :D
