www.monk3y.com Roadtripping is one of my favorite pastime. I'm one of those people who enjoy the journey as much as the destination itself.

Hakone is a popular destination for both local and international tourists. As such, there are quite a number of museums in the area, among them is this glass museum. It's a very cool museum with both indoor and outdoor glass displays in a nicely manicured garden. The pond and mountain backdrop makes everything looks natural and relaxing too.

If you have to choose which museum you need to visit when you're in Hakone, I'd say this should be on top of your list.

Went there with some of my friends last year and had a great time. Its one of those amusement parks that really brings you to the edge of your wits. Among the rides were 4 world class roller coasters, each with their own world record such as the steepest drop, the most spin etc. etc. It was crazy but at the same time amazing.

If you love roller coasters, then this place certainly won't disappoint!

A different kind of experience!!

The museum is located in an unassuming and relatively small building a few minutes by bus from Meguro Station and there is not a lot of signs around it. So we had to spend a few minutes looking around.

It was actually smaller than we expected but was enough to give us an idea of how disgusting it can be in the world of parasites.

Definitely a good educational tour and should be included in your itinerary if you're in the area. Admission is free too!
