“a beautiful and intimate coffee shop”
Bag of beans is nestled in unman cured garden setting in Tagaytay. Guests choose to dine in al fresco for that foresty-ish feeling. It’s actually the experience and ambiance that you would be paying for aside from the food. They expanded recently and added a big open dining area; it likes a humongous gazebo using indigenous materials. The roof is made of nipa and the posts are old tree trunks. Tables are solid slabs of distressed wood with matching antique wooden chairs. Bag of Beans coffee has been proven to have a lot of health benefits. According to a study, coffee contains more anti-oxidants than cocoa, red wine and four times more than green tea. Other benefits of drinking coffee include reducing the risk of having colon cancer, Parkinson’s and diabetes due to the antioxidants in coffee. It can also help enhance your memory and performance, as well as help alleviate depression. Asthma sufferers have also revealed that drinking coffee has lessened their attacks by 25%.
Originally famous for their coffee and shepherd's pie and now one of the must-stop cafe/restaurant in town. Inside the restaurant they have a very good ambiance, you can choose from air-conditioned room or dine in the garden on a gazebo. Serving portion are good for two but sometimes more. They still continue to sell their pies which you can buy frozen as well.
From it's humble beginnings, this place has grown into one of the must visit places when visiting Tagaytay. Good food in a very beautiful setting... and the place is big enough to accommodate a lot of customers without feeling cramp!
Definitely worth a stop or even a trip! :D
