Sunny Acres is a friendly and clean 55+ park in central Las Cruces, New Mexico. The sites are mostly back-in and have FHU 50amp sites. All sites are gravel with patios and picnic table. The sites are large and can easily accommodate large rigs. The amenities are pickle ball, large dog run, community room, laundry, billiards, and restrooms. We chose this park because of it’s central location to everything. 👍🏻😉

I would give 0 stars if that were an option! Very bad business practices happening here. We booked a site at this campground over 6 months in advance. I should have known better when they required the entire amount up front instead of the normal deposit. I had to cancel my reservation 2 1/2 months prior to going, which is a very advance notice! I called the office and was told they would cancel my reservation and refund my $. Then the next day I received an email from the office stating that they do not refund any $ if the reservation was made over 90 days previously!!! What type of “rule” is this? They are refusing any sort of refund and it seems like they are “double dipping” by rebooking the sites after they have collected the money. This is no way to do business and we do not recommend dealing with a corrupt park like this. It cost us almost $300!

Woodland campground in Woodland, Pennsylvania is a friendly family-owned campground. The grounds are a beautiful park-like setting with a lake and trails. They have canoes available to explore the lake and a large play area for the kids. The sights are spacious and can accommodate large rigs. There are back-in and pull-thru sites with FHU 30/50 amp. They also have a small store on site. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone traveling in this area. Safe travels everyone! 😊💗

Kenisee Lake RV Resort Thousand Trails in Jefferson, Ohio is a another great Thousand Trails park! This park is very large and has a park-like setting with 2 lakes. There is fishing on the lakes and the campground has rowboats available to use. They have all the amenities a family could want such as swimming pool, playground, mini-golf, and more! The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Kenisee Lake has 30 and 50 amp FHU back-in and pull-through sites. The only downside is the internet which is lacking in this area. We have really enjoyed our stay here and will be returning! 👍🏻😬

Seawind RV Resort is a nice, no-frills RV resort in Riviera, Texas on Baffin Bay. The park is adjacent to the waterfront park, beaches, boat launches, and fishing piers. Our site has views of the bay. The RV park offers large FHU sites with 50 amp. They take Good Sam discount and Passport America, which we used. The staff is friendly and the park is clean. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Haggerman RV Village in July 2021. This is a nice, shady RV park. We had a large pull-thru site with water, sewer, and electric that accommodated our fifth wheel and dually Ram with no problems. Be forewarned that this park is green and beautiful because sprinklers run at night and may hit your camp chairs and bbq. The staff do warn you about this in advance (thank you). The nearby town offers a great wood oven pizza place called Fire Pie Pizza. There is plenty of room to walk your pups and just sit back and relax as it is remarkably quiet here. They do have a propane fill station and nice office staff. We highly recommend this park.

We stayed at Phillips RV Park in Evanston, Wyoming in August 2021. We had a nice pull-thru site that easily accommodated our fifth wheel and truck. We had full hookups and cable. The WiFi didn’t work very good here but was typical of many RV parks, hit or miss. Good spacing between sites and very easy to maneuver your rig in and out of. Nice grassy areas to walk your pups. They doggy poop bag stations were always empty of bags, but we carry our own anyway. This park has lots of room for kids to play with a large play structure and grassy area.. The county fair was here during our stay and we enjoyed walking basically across the street to the fairground to enjoy it. There are miles of paved hiking/biking paths close at Bear River State Park. We enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed at the Ambassador RV Resort in Caldwell, Idaho in July and September 2021. This is one of the nicest, cleanest, well-maintained parks we have stayed at. This RV resort is a short drive off I84 and when you pull through the front gate, you become immediately aware that you are in for a great stay. The park is impeccably maintained. Huge pull-thru sites on level river rock pads. Directly beside the rock pad is a wide concrete patio area followed by another wide grassy area. Tons of room to set-up and relax outside. The pool, hot tub, and steam room are centrally located and are clean and inviting. The office and maintenance staff are top notch. You can even drop your garbage bag at the back of your camper in the morning and they pick it up and dump it for you. If you need propane, they will pick up your tank and bring it back to you. The resort also has the nicest gated dog run area we have ever seen. The WiFi worked great and they have cable. It was an absolute joy to stay here and we went back a second time this summer because we enjoyed it so much! For videos of the resort, visit our YouTube channel: Jeff & Steff’s Excellent Adventure.

The best thing about this Thousand Trails campground is it’s proximity to Gettysburg and all attractions! The Campground is old and a bit rundown. Sites are small and tight and some are at strange angles. They do have FHU and 30/50 amp. There are many amenities and a large swimming pool which is great for families. The staff is friendly and welcoming. We would stay here again if visiting the area.

We had tried to book a site at the campground twice through Thousand Trails and were assigned sites that did not fit our fifth wheel. Both times, the campground called us and cancelled because we didn’t fit in the sites that Thousand Trails had put us in. 😳 So, I called Thousand Trails and explained what was happening and was told they couldn’t do anything about it because their system showed we fit in those sites. 🙄 I then called Tuxbury back directly and they told me that they would contact Thousand Trails and let them know their system was incorrect, which they did. I received a call back afterwards from the campground letting me know they had me reserved for the correct site for our RV size. She had told me that this happens often there. We have a 35’ fifth wheel and TT was putting us in sites in section H. These sites are too small and hook-ups are on the wrong side. The correct sites are section J. Section J sites are large pull-through sites and very comfortable. I hope this helps anyone that goes through this scheduling nightmare! Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful. The park itself is old and a bit rundown. We were there for over a week in July and grounds were not mown once. It was overgrown and definitely needs some love. They do have a lot of amenities/activities for the whole family. One last note is that this campground is a golf-cart racetrack! Underage kids on golf-carts racing around and yelling a lot at all hours! We’re not sure what it was about and seems to be a frequent issue in New England campgrounds. 😬😬
