Most recent stay was 8/05/16 - I'm "late" in posting my review ~ We camp in a "Tear Drop” style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area
Our site was across the road from the restroom/shower/laundry building and one word ~ immaculate ~ describes them all. Their facilities deserve a 5 star, very clean, very modern, and laid out in large unisex individual & private “home bathroom” style rooms each with a sink/vanity w/mirror, toilet, shower stall, bench, shelf for your stuff, hooks for your clothes and paper towels to clean up area after use + a bonus towel bath mat for your feet as you exit the shower. Cooled by AC in summer months and heated during cooler months.
Rest of facilities also a 5 star paved interior roads, all graveled (level) site pads all pull through w/extension concrete patio, & picnic table w/moderate spacing between other sites. FHU w/cable and in-ground irrigation sprinklers, and of course a sparkling clean swimming pool + laundry room. All this for extremely reasonable price $34.00 w/Good Sam Discount – believe me you will pay much more for much less at other parks.
Be aware this is definitely a Big Rig RV Park ~ not a campground [believe no tents allowed and could not set up our dinning canopy over picnic table] but it can accommodate little rigs like us too. Only a couple of trees sparsely spaced around property most all sites have no shade so hot sun beats down on you ~ you’ll appreciate your awning here.

Finding decent parks near cities is challenging. While this park is 22 miles from downtown Boise, it is worth the drive. The park is very well developed with wide roads, gravel sites with a lush grass area between the sites and a concrete patio with a table and benches. The office personal were very friendly and you are guided and parked at your site. There are three rows near the office for short term stays. The park has a small pool and hot tub area, a dog park with beautiful thick grass, many individual bathrooms, and a laundry. There is a large recreation room attached to the office with a fitness room, meeting area, tables for activities, and recliners. The park WiFi is excellent. Trash is picked up at your site. We most definitely stay here again if in the area.

This is our second time to this park. In 2015 we used it as a one night stop between Reno & CDA. This year, we used it as a resting place for 11 nights to explore the greater Boise area. I agree with the previous reviews. This is not a campground, but a well-done RV park laid out parking lot style...but it is super Big Rig friendly (think tractor trailers), and though it is great for a quick stopover...this is a great place to stop with kids, and by far the best option in the area. There is a great pool and spa area with ample room for families. There is also a storage bin by the pool with giant bouncy balls that really add a nice touch for children and teens. My kids love tossing them around in the pool. There is also a small fitness room, rec room and lounge that are wonderful for families to use. This park is 25 minutes from downtown Boise, and when you come back after a long day of exploring...these amenities provide a welcome treat for kids of any age. There is also a small playground and smooth pavement to ride bikes. Management is fabulous and the park is exceptionally clean. Not only is this great for exploring Boise and Meridian (much nicer than the parks in those towns), but you are not far from the gorgeous Payette River and Cascade area. The weekly rate is very travel friendly.

After a couple of weeks of boondocking, this was a great 'urban' stop to replenish the frig and wine cellar, clean up the Airstream and relax. And at $34/night with AAA, what a steal!
We were greeted by a friendly staff and escorted to our site. This resort is well appointed with cement pads and green grass between each site. The Ambassador Bark Park, an off-leash dog park, was much appreciated by Boonedocker and Piper. The bathrooms are absolutely spotless and each has it's own private shower. Laundry was a super reasonable $1.25 to wash; $1.25 to dry...one of the least expensive we've found. We were not hit by a list of rules when we arrived, and in fact, were given the OK to wash our rig...wow! Trash pick up, curb side. What more could you ask for?? How about the pool at just the right temp and a hot tub after all that work, check!
We highly recommend Ambassador RV Resort if you're heading to Caldwell, Idaho, just a short drive from Boise.

We booked our stay at Ambassador as we worked our way from Arizona to the Pacific Northwest. It was one of the nicest stops we've had in a while - friendly staff and entry escort to our site, making sure our steps lined up over the concrete pad - the little touches. The trailer pads themselves are covered in large river rock - nothing tracks into your rig. The sites are separated by manicured grass strips, and there's plenty of room between rigs.
Walks around the park revealed a number of resident rigs, but the long-term residents are required to keep up clean sites, and all skirts are commercial - no plywood or sheet metal skirts.
The only park amenity we used was the laundry, and it was spotless and well-maintained.
Services are close by, and Highway 26, right outside the park, is a straight shot to downtown Boise.
A park similar to this one anywhere else would be a $50 a night park, at least. This is a place we'd definitely stay at again.

Camped here Apr. 24
This is a resort. We've stayed here in the past and it's still as nice as it's ever been.
The pool was closed but the hot tub was open and we used it one afternoon, it was hot. lol
The sites are big and level, everything worked and the people working here are friendly, what's not to like!? Well, maybe the price, but it's not too bad for just a couple of days.

This is one of the best parks we've seen. Extremely well maintained, manicured lawns, sparkling swimming pool, level gravel sites and concrete pads with picnic tables. Understandably very sought after - full occupancy most of the time. Staff is incredibly friendly, professional and helpful - feels like a family. Spent there three weeks with our 5th wheel and would stay for much more if we could.

Paved interior roads, gravel, level sites with well kept lawn between & concrete patio, FHU’s, and sites long enough to keep the toad connected. Pool, spa, sauna, small gym, clubhouse, & nice dog runs. Staff is helpful & friendly.

We stayed here for one night on a drive between Portland and Salt Lake City. We had intended to stay at a state park in Oregon, but decided that we needed a restaurant and more amenities. I was able to call from the road and reserve, pay, etc. When we arrived, after hours, we were greeted by the host, who showed us our site, right up front near the office. The park has a somewhat sterile feeling to it, but not in a bad way. The spaces were fully graveled, which kept things clean. The whole place was clean, convenient. The showers were nice, and the cable and wifi worked well. We would definitely stay here again.
