Very nice new campground. Only five RV sites and some very nice tent sites. The tent site I have a hitching Post for your horse. There are also horse pen for $15 overnight, with a roof for shelter from the sun.

The RV sites are laid out nicely, terraced at an angle so no one is right on top of each other. We stayed in site 4 and it could’ve been a little more level side to side, but 4 yellow blocks on the downhill side got the job! Sites are very long and easy to access. Electric, water, & picnic table at each site. Sheltered from the highway noise, as you go up and over a ridge to get into the campground.
NOTE: IF YOU FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS FROM THE NORTH.. the directions tell you to pass the place up, go .8 mile PAST Roy’s Rd, then do a U-turn and come back to turn onto Roy’s Road.THIS IS MOT NECESSARY, As there is no obstacle or median or anything. Two yellow lines. Maybe that’s why the directions are given like that? I don’t know, but it is stupid, don’t waste your time, especially if you are towing something!!
Mother and her daughter owners are very nice and accommodating. I texted them on our way there and they came to our rig to register us. There is a lengthy waiver to read and autograph, my feeling is it is geared more to horse people.

As a personal experience, we got there just as a rain storm was hitting. What a gorgeous vista close to sunset. Red rocks, blue sky, black clouds, lightning and double rainbow. Beautiful!

Only 10 sites here. Clean and tidy, quiet, Good electric, level site-with shade! All of this plus good Wi-Fi all for $25! The Wi-Fi was invaluable as we had no service there with The Wi-Fi was invaluable as we had no service there with AT&T.

But to us the thing that made it special we’re the owner/operators, Dennis and son Jason. Down to earth guys, very friendly and enjoyed conversation with them. Knowledgeable of the area.

The town itself had a café with a great menu, though the food was just average. Also a gas station with diesel fuel and a little market where I actually was Able to buy fresh vegetables.

Would definitely frequent this place if it wasn’t 500 miles away from where I live.

Dump only. Also has propane, but not as good of a price as Bretz RV about 1/4 mile away.

When you turn on 85th Street toward the Water Treatment plant, continue past the sign on your left a few more yards, past the island and make a right turn around the loop.2 lanes going in and 2 lanes coming out, a dump on each side! One on the wrong side of the normal dumping side of a camper. The only thing I didn't like about the place was that the cleanout hoses available are just a short 1/2 inch hose with no fitting on the end to attach to your cleanout hose attachment.

After hauling our 36 ft fifth wheel to Great Basin NP and finding only a couple campsites that would accommodate us (and they taken), we drove the 18 miles back to the Sacremento Pass BLM land we had passed earlier on the way to the park. SOOOO glad we did! 7 or 8 sites, all extremely nice! My thoughts echo all other reviews above. In the center of the campground there is a fishing pond---full of KOI!! Extremely clean bathrooms. Campsites have a shelter, grill, fire ring and a tent pad. All are also suited for a large RV, although it took a little finagling to get a level parking spot. The equestrian campground up above is really nice too. Three small private camp sites, one large one the center.

There are a couple displays talking about the trees and plants of the area. Trash cans easily
accessible and in neat little corrals. Very well maintained campground!

Very serene location. views are amazing. The campground is surrounded in rabbit brush and sage brush, in full bloom when we were there. In the background, mountains and pinion trees all around. and dark DARK night skies!

AT&T service 4g and LTE available at 1 spot at the top of the hill between 2 fence posts around the pond. LOL!

The only real negative is the highway. My husband is allergic (LOL) to noise at night, But for the most part, the traffic is slow at night, was only awakened a few times in our 6 nights there.

No water here, but water and dump are available at The Border Inn 15 miles east toward Utah.

This is our 2nd time at this campground as we are passing through the area. Typical KOA. Nice office area, friendly staff, clean facilities, refreshing 80 degree pool. We stopover here mainly for the pool--the kids love it after riding hours in a cramped vehicle. Although it is on a highway, it's really quiet, never bothered by road noise.

What I DON'T like about the park:
--Sites TOO close together.
-- "Kid tax" ($6/kid) added.

Site 24 had a large dip just off the gravel pad. Since we were leaving the next morning, we wanted to keep the truck hitched to the 36 ft fifth wheel. It was a little tough to get in the site at a good angle to stay hitched and not stick out in the road.

I really liked the layout of the park. Each site is set up on a terraced hill. Each has a grill, table, and little post light. The views are great!!

But.... the trains down in the valley run ALL night, several sets of tracks. And maybe the wind was just right the night we were there, but the train horns and the rumbling on the tracks, (for miles), came right up to our coach. No sleep that night.... :(

This place had mixed reviews on other sites, so I wasn't sure what to expect. This is a SEASONAL home park with 2 possible RV sites. That's it. Reviews on other sites complained about muddy. Well, what's going to happen when it rains.....and rains....and rains? We stayed there late September while it poured and had been raining for a week. We do not have 4WD. We did not have any problem. Actually, I enjoyed it, because the site we stayed in was by the "lodge" and the harbor. The lodge has a bar.....with beer ($4 bottle). And toaster oven pizza. That's it. But the owners, brothers Kurt and Niles, were enjoyable. I would go back again, if I knew I could get the "lakeside" site. Very quiet, but a few bright, glaring lights at night.

I have not stayed here. I made a phone call to them when desperately trying to find a place to stay on a holiday weekend. They are a membership resort campground, but DO allow non-members to stay for $50.00 per night. Unfortunately for us, they were full for the nights we needed to stay. But the guy I spoke to was EXTREMELY helpful in recommending area campgrounds, including phone numbers!

I liked the location because it appears to be in a quiet location (NOT on a highway!) and the pictures look great!

12 miles from the interstate, and 5 miles from Kanosh, we found a VERY quiet overnight at Adelaide CG. Nestled far back in the Corn Creek Canyon, it was cozy and made me wish I was a local. We were there "pre-season" (April) so water was not on. However, vault toilets were open. No electric here, Very nice small campground with creepy trees. We got water in town at "Bob's" gas station. Super friendly. Reservations are taken on the Recreation.gov website.
