We were in the area to visit family and hardly at the farm. Wish we had taken time to explore it more. All the sites seemed easy to get in and out of. Site 4 and 7 would have a better view of the open fields. There was not really a check in process we just drove to our site. This would be a great spot to use to visit SilverWood park. The camp host did check on us and brought around a morning and evening treat for everyone.

This was definitely our type of place. This is a pack it in and pack it out place with no hookups. The road in is a little tight but can handle just about any rig. We booked the site through AirBnB so there are some added fees with that. It is a conservation farm with most of the land returning back to natural forest area. The owners are into enduro motorcycles so there is a fantastic trail system around the property. Our kids loved hiking over to see the horses and animals at the owners little hobby farm. The owners even gave us some farm fresh eggs which tasted great. The 4 camping sites are very spaced out and well taken care of. Our site was the group/rv site which is a large meadow area. I would consider the tent sites to be glamping some what. They all had a covered area, chairs, a large water jug, and nice fire pit. This was a great secluded get away in the middle of the busy summer camping season.

The views form any of the sights are fantastic. The campground is terraced into the side of a gentle sloping bluff but that is what gives it the views and quirks. We stayed March 26-28 during the Coronavirus mess. The park was pretty empty. This place has a little of everything cabins, tent sites, RV sites, and it looks like a few full time people. All the sites seem well spaced out so you don’t feel cramped at all. It’s about 15 minutes from the 2 main campgrounds in the area where they do pack you like sardines. They recently upgraded most of the power boxes to 20, 30, and 50 amp style. Cell service is spotty and no WIFI which I like.

The water front sites have a great view. We loved watching all the birds.

We stayed at the end of June in 2020 at Bridges Bay and the bugs were not to bad. The lake views and wildlife are worth any other minor issue. The birding alone Is pretty cool but throw in Bison walking by and Antelope roaming the hillsides it’s over the top to me. I wish we had stayed longer but will definitely be back to do some of the hikes. We did make it over to Gar ranch which was really interesting. We were able to easily pull into or site backwards which allowed us views from the slide out windows and put our entry door facing the picnic site area. We loved having the concrete slab area with patio cover and fire pit. Cell service was not great at the campground but good in other areas of the park.

We had a great time here. The WIFI was pretty good and we had a spot with lots of shade and privacy. This place seems very well maintained. If you get the chance I would walk to the Aztec ruins 3 blocks away and then take the bridges and cross through the river on the way back. The town has pretty much anything you need and several other things to explore. I totally get why there are some full time snowbird type mixed into this park.

This is one of our favorite close to home camping spots. We have stayed here tent camping and with our trailer. In the off season they close the upper loop which has lots of nice large sites. We recently stayed in site 22 which was tight for our 30ft trailer and truck. Site 20 also looked tight. Sites16 17 and 19 are your best pull through options in the off season. I am already looking forward to spring and seeing the wild rhododendrons blooming in the forest. We love walking the beach and seeing the eagles and otters in the morning. I believe Seabeck pizza will still deliver pizza to your site.

This site had beautiful views all around. One side had a valley and Mountain View. The other side had a view of the fins and ridges. Seeing the stars and Milky-way at night was a definitely worth the heat during the day. There is a nice view of Skyline arch when you walk just a little way out on the rock fin at the site.

The site had plenty of room for our truck and trailer. You could easily fit a second car if you needed to. Weather extremes should be expected the site is near the top of a hill and exposed to wind and sun.

The timed entry into the park is bit of a pain. The line while the entry booths were staffed was at least 30min long but if you entered the park after booths were closed there was no line at all.

The family really enjoyed our relaxing stay here in early December. Our site was a water front pull through with full hookups. These sites are reservable and go fairly quick all year round but the other sites on the beach loop are nice also. We stopped by this park earlier in summer time to dump our tanks and the place was packed full and now I understand why. It would be a great place to play in the Summer. Apparently there is a good Salmon run here up the creek in early fall. The eagles where still eating leftover Salmon in December. Some sites seemed to have taller drain connections for some reason. This could cause some minor issues for some. The park seems very clean and well taken care by staff.

We stayed here a few days at Xmas. Amazing ocean view and quite in the off season. The only issue we we saw were puddles here and there but everyone used their leveling blocks to get around them if needed. WIFI amazingly great but the park was half full. The bathrooms were well maintained. The check in station-office is to the right when you enter the park. You can easily get a large rig around the office if needed. You can’t beat the ocean view and only being a few feet from the beach. We had our heat on all night so the wave sounds were a little muffled.
