Confirmed by 3 users | Last reported on August 17, 2022It's a low-end RV park, but it has the basics, and the price is right. And it's within walking distance of Aztec Ruins National Monument, a fascinating world heritage site.
If you're in a tent or a small RV (and don't require hookups), there are sites down by the river here for $10.

most of the sites seem to be permanent ( workers ) - but they were clean and quiet. the adjoining neighbors who had dogs were also very considerate and when/if they barked - the owners were right out there and quieted them. the owners there really care about you / your stay; sadly the folks that come there to access the river could give a darn less and drive thru there like they own the roads (not locals) and the roads are obviously gravel. we were right next to a grassy area. one of the family members even offerred to take us out to see some of the petroglyphs in the area - very nice of him - but we fumbled it out and saw some.

Stayed at this RV park two nights with the intent to visit the Aztec Ruins National Monument almost immediately next door, and to make a day trip to Chaco Canyon National Monument. This simple family owned RV Park fit the bill. The best part of the RV park is its location. Away from the main road, bordering a quiet river, and within a short walk to Aztec National Monument. Still a long drive to Chaco Canyon, but from what I could see, there are no closer decent camping options to that park, except within the park but I'd not recommend as the dirt road in will strain your RV.
Check in was easy, but be aware cash or checks only, no credit cards. Surprisingly the Wifi signal was powerful and fast. The park itself is rather plain. Primarily a large gravel lot interspersed with trees and hookups. The host pointed us to an area and said we can park next to a hookup. There are no bathrooms, showers, or laundry facilities. However the host pointed us to a large modern laundromat just a short drive down the road. Another plus is a nice Safeway grocery store was just around the corner nearby as well.
While many of sites appeared to occupied by long term residents, the few I met and spoke with appeared to be retirees or guys who worked in construction type jobs. No trouble makers at all. Overall I recommend this park to anyone wanting to visit and explore the local area for a few days.

From the last reviews I’ve seen it looks like the price at this park has gone up since last year. I had a great stay here. The owner is extremely nice. When I pulled in she showed me all my hookups and gave me info on Chaco Canyon and the Aztec ruins which is so close you can almost see your RV from the visitors center. Very cool place to visit. I opted to stay here as I didn’t want to take my rig into Chaco. I’m glad I didn’t as the road into Chaco was pretty bad. Driveable in a vehicle but wouldn’t recommend towing anything in. The WiFi was fast but seemed to get spotty in the afternoon. This park is right next to the river that you can walk down and check out.
It’s about and hour and a half to Chaco, hour and a half to Bisti and 15 minutes from Farmington which were all places I frequented while I stayed here. This spot worked perfect for all the things I came to see. Would recommend this park and would stay again.

We had a great time here. The WIFI was pretty good and we had a spot with lots of shade and privacy. This place seems very well maintained. If you get the chance I would walk to the Aztec ruins 3 blocks away and then take the bridges and cross through the river on the way back. The town has pretty much anything you need and several other things to explore. I totally get why there are some full time snowbird type mixed into this park.

We planed to visit Aztec Ruins, so we stayed here for a night, we have a truck pop up camper, so we stayed at the river side, did not use the hookups, it’s quiet, by the river we saw geese, hawks, woodpecker, lighted campfire and cooked chicken meat, wonderful. Would like to stay here again if possible, but the weather just freezing cold at this time (22F in the early morning today).

Okay campground. Nothing special. We had a pull through and we were able to keep our car attached which was nice. Take time to visit the Aztec monument. It is an easy half-mile walk down the road and totally worth it.

Full hookups. Very close to Aztec Ruins NM. Wi-Fi was good. Most seemed to be permanent residents. I think we are the only true campers here.

We park the RV here quite often. Full hookups with very good WiFi. Cell signal is 4 bars. Always quiet and the shade trees make this our top spot. You can walk to the river in less than a minute and just sit a spell or bring the fly rod. The management keeps the place clean and up to date. Bring cash. No credit cards accepted. The Aztec Ruins are down the street. A&W, Blake’s and any food you want is a block away. If anyone I knew were coming to town this is where I would send them first.

We only spent one night because we planned to be elsewhere the next night, but hosts were incredibly nice and helpful, rates were so very fair even with hookups. Very nice campsite, some full timers, all very fine campground, all really good nice campers and folks there. Host even chose site #39 for us - that I would have chosen for the overnight camp, as it just happened to be open. Lots of shady camps or sunny camps if that's what's you desire. Easy access, clean, quality quality, quality. No disappointments. You'll love it. Nearby the Aztec Ruins just a quarter mile away. Perfect, perfect, perfect. Thanks much!!! Well be back for sure!
