This is a small, private campground near PEI National park. It has full hookups, laundry and wash house facilities. These were clean and up to date. The sites are grass. The sites are small, some more private than others. While WiFi is advertised, it did not reach to our campsite. Not sure if you were supposed to go up to the office to reach the WiFi or what. We did have a bit of cell signal.

We are glad we found this small (6ish sites) campground near Jacksonville FL. It is beautifully maintained, and the spacious sites offer a big, level concrete pad, water/electric, picnic table, fire pit and grill. Sites are far apart so you can barely see your neighbor in the next site. There is a little highway sound, and occasionally, a distant train sound. Due to the type of forest, pine, there isn’t much shade, but it is beautiful! Another plus is a strong wifi signal.

Beautiful forest service campground with water/electric and only about 6 sites. Great cell service! Bathrooms/showers clean and in good condition, but walls are open at top and bottom. Kind of an open air bathroom. Near a military base so a couple of times we heard a jet and helicopter, but not a problem. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in site 5 for 1 night, it is a pull through site with water and electricity. Sites 4-6 are the best sites for RVs. They are closer to the water than most other sites, however further from showers if you care about that. Our site was level with nice grass around and a picnic table and fire pit. The wood we bought at the campground for our fire was well seasoned and burned nicely, the bundle was quite large for $5. Lived the campground and our site!

Even though it has been raining all day, site 64 has no flooded areas. It is a huge, beautiful site surrounded by trees. We did not use the wash house so can’t comment. The overall campground is clean and well-maintained, and the office staff very friendly. Our site has a gravel pad surrounded by grass, with picnic table and fire ring.

Call Creek State Park was a beautiful park with a friendly staff and was very well-maintained. It had one camping loop with around 30 sites including eight or 1010 sites. We were in site 21 which we found to be private and very comfortable. we had afternoon shade over part of the site and morning sun. in general this park doesn’t have a lot of shade because of the type of forest around it. Bathrooms were very clean. It has showers and laundry facilities and some hiking trails which we did not get to use. The only downside was there is no cell signal at all. We like the park and would definitely stay there again. It is near Lakeland for Florida, which is a nice town with all the amenities you could need. Despite being there over Labor Day weekend and the park being full, everyone was quiet and respectful.

No one was at the front office when we arrived. We needed to know our campsite #, as we had not received the booking email yet. We had to call the provincial park office, and they were helpful. We had site 24, which is in a big open grassy field. There was no privacy, but the site next to us was empty. Our site was not very level, so we had to spend a bit of time backing in to different areas of our site to get our trailer leveled. We did not use the wash house so I can’t comment on that. The water spigot near our site was strange. You couldn’t screw a hose onto it, and you had to hold the spigot handle constantly to keep the water on. We had hoped to fill fresh water here. We will check other water sites on the campground to see if there is a better one.

We spent 8 nights at this campground in Sep 2023. We recommend site J 6, for a nice, unobstructed view of distant mountains and a pretty pasture with cows. The campground is very well maintained and clean. We used the laundry facilities and showers and both were great. We brought our 2 dogs, and the campground is very dog-friendly. The sites are somewhat close, but I expect that in privately owned campgrounds. With all the fabulous places to explore, we didn’t spend much time at the RV. Neither WiFi nor cell signal are great, but we got by. The host said they are supporting be getting new internet cable laid up their road soon, so that should help. Lots of fun amenities here for families.

We spent one night at Tuck in the Wood in mid-November. The campground was probably half full. We had full hookups. We had privacy because the sites on either side of us were empty, but had they been rented the neighbors would have been very close. The bathrooms and showers were dated, but very clean and well-stocked. Some campers appear to live full time here. It was very quiet, and grounds are well/maintained. The sites are packed sand, and we used a mat to prevent our chocks from sinking in. Sites were mostly level with only small adjustments needed. We had good cell service with T-mobile. Convenient location for visiting Beaufort.

Well many sites had lake views, site three did not. However, site three was level, large, and had plenty of trees for privacy. The campground is hilly and many sides require backing uphill to get parked. It is a beautiful campground and well-maintained. It is close to shopping in Murphysboro, and also not too far from Nashville. Our first night there the electricity was out to the whole campground for the night due to thunderstorms. We had quite a bit of rain the whole time we were there however there was some sunny time during the day. The campground restrooms and showers are not conveniently located for all campsites. We did not use them so cannot comment on their cleanliness.
