This was our first time staying at a KOA and it met all of our expectations. Clean facilities, grounds and the staff were so friendly and helpful. the only down fall was wifi was only good around the little cafe and playground. The town of interior is small but also so friendly at the little mom/pop country store. The location of the KOA is perfect for the day-trips to the Badlands to see all the wildlife and great hiking trails. You must purchase a National Pass($80-for a family, discount for seniors, military) that gives you all access to any National parks for the year. Rapid City is about a 45min drive away for more convenient shopping or restaurants. Plus, my greatest memory as a kid...Dinosaur Park. We will surely stay here again.

Oh my where to start for our visit to this great campground. Unfortunately, we arrived during the great COVID 2020 craziness, but the staff made sure we still would enjoy the stay. A lot of their amenities were closed due to NY's laws for Covid, but they made up for it with a couple of amenities (pedal bike, kayaks) for no fee. The staff was amazing and friendly with every encounter. The restrooms and facilities are super clean and well kept, with great water pressure. We had a deep lot with water and electric 30A and wifi. We are gingers so we try to get shaded areas as much as possible and it was perfect. The whole campground is well maintained and very very clean and so close to Niagara Falls. We are surely to comeback when all this craziness dies down, and this will be our 1st camping spot choice for that area.

So this is a mom and pop campground ran by a very nice older couple. They were starting to update somethings while we were there. The sites are small like previous reviews but I was able to sneak my 36' Imagine into an end spot. We were in walking distance to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse and actually in Acadia NP. If you are planning on doing a lot oof things in Acadia NP, this is the perfect place to drop the camper. We had full hookup with our site (water,30A and sewer.) Pro's- nice owners, wifi no problems, restrooms were clean. Close to Acadia NP activities. An IGA market close by for groceries. Price was right with a great scenery for star gazing and hearing the Atlantic. Cons- small sites and small trees every where to hamper parking of camper. Campfire pits on top of other sites (which as a FF I didn't like).
Really we would stay there again because the cons were not overwhelming for us not to. Plus as I said, they were updating things like more sewer and outhouses with more water outlets.

We had a great time here at Kampfire CG and Inn. It was perfect spot to relax and enjoy what Vermont has to offer. Amy was amazing on helping and changing our Reservations when I called the office. She admitted that are new at this ownership of the CG, but you couldn't tell. The campground you can tell is new and they are trying their hardest to update and make it family friendly. We had full hookup without any problems. The kids loved the pool and playground and were there a lot (ages 5,13 and 16). Especially loved the little Ice cream stand (Scoops) that is attached to the resort. We were unable to play on their cool looking Mini-golf course, maybe next time. We would come back if we are in the area. It is also real close to New Hampshire and also the little town of Brattleboro. the con I might have is we wish the firepit was alittle bigger. bout we like a big campfire to relax around. If you have a pet, they have an awesome dog park on there grounds and also they had a local food truck. Great Job Amy!! hope this season is won't hurt them that bad with all this crazy Covid.

What can I say about this family ran campground...it was amazing. Clean sites, friendly, great activities for everyone and great sewer services. We had an amazing time staying near the little river bank with amazing neighbors. Chris and his family know how to help or make campers feel like they are at home. Tucked away in parts of the Natchaug SP, the view and peacefulness is amazing. They offer a sewer service(honey pot) if your tanks get full for $20-25. Brand new wifi all around the campground, also playgrounds for kiddos and multiple group camping areas with pavilions. You forget anything or need help, the staff and owners will do their best to help. If you need a shower you will have to pay a .25 for the meter due to them being near the river. Water and 30a,50a on all sites. No sewer hookup due to the river, but that's why they offer the honey pot service. We will surely be going back to this family Campground.

Perfect spot if you want to Hike, bike or even adventure kayaking Lake George. Everything is so close and such a beautiful spot tucked away in the Adirondacks. If you love to hike and explore the mountains, there is so many trailheads near Queensbury and Fort Ann. Bring your boots and enjoy the beauty of little falls at Shelving Rock Falls or look among Lake George on The Boulder Summit. Unfortunately, a lot of the amenities in town of Lake George were closed due to Covid and hopefully they will open soon. The Campgrounds is very clean and has a lot of amenities for all ages. The staff is unbelievable friendly and willing to help everyone. With our 36ft Image we felt comfortable but it could be cramped if it was a full campground I believe. It really depends on what you are looking for. We are very adventurous so we were barely at our campsite. They have Full hook up and wifi is available. We are surly keeping this on our favorite list.

So during our national crisis, we were so happy to still the able to get away for our 1st camping trip of the season. Fort Payne AL (Home of the Country Music band Alabama) is a nice old town that also has modern stores on the outskirts. Unfortunately, most places were closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic. DeSoto State Park is located in Lookout Mountain and also part of the Appalachian Mountain. Beautiful views and many awesome hiking trails and falls around to explore. Also right up the road was Little Red Canyon Falls, what a beautiful site. The campsite was very roomie and also had full hookups. Everything was kept very clean and I doubt it was just for this pandemic. Staff that we were in contact with were very friendly and helpful. we are surely keeping this on the our favorite list.

So this is our second time here at Springfield CG and we always enjoy the total relaxation we feel. Agree with some of the reviews on the clearing of a lot of trees, it doesn’t not make the CG look pleasing. But we always come during our 2 week fall break and enjoy the colors we have and the view of the lake. The proximity to anything or grocery store or fuel is amazing and the community of Anderson is also. Unfortunately, we also had problems with ants this year but was easy to treat here. They crawled up our water hoses. ( so just some how elevate and put down borax or some kind of killer). We will probably make this our annual spot for our Fall break. Plus it always falls near the week I need to be in GA to teach.

We really loved this park and Lanier Lake that it sits on. Unfortunately, the only down fall was that they had closed all their washrooms due to COVID-19, so using a portable tank was fun. We had awesome weather and one rainy day but that didn't keep us down. The lake can be busy on the weekend, but calm during the week with a lot of boat traffic. Wifi was not an issuer as our kids still had to do Homework for school and have Zoom mtgs. There are plenty of shops and stores near by for all your needs. Also around Lake Lanier there are so many parks for fishing to hiking if that's what you like. We will surely be going back and hopefully during better times.
PRO-nice step down patio setting
PRO-beautiful and clean park
PRO-friendly staff
PRO-water and electric hookup
PRO-close to stores and shoppes
CON-narrow driveway and slight slope
