New (2023) dump station near sewer treatment plant. Recycled water only for cleanup. No drinking water fill. Nice landscaping. Convenient access from CA-4 near I-580.
Dumps are at gas pumps on east end near propane tank. No containmen hole so be careful. $10 fee provides the key, but one of the two dump covers had no lock.
Diesel here is B20 biodiesel so my Sprinter could not use it.
Not very clean but it worked ok for us. A curb between the dump and the road was inconvenient. In a busy parking lot with only a sign preventing folks from blocking the dump. Price is right.
This is our regular dump stop on the way home from Seattle, a favorite. Sadly, it’s closed for construction. Website says closed until 12/31/21, but it doesn’t look close to opening today. Sigh.
Stopped on the way south from WA to CA, looking to try someplace new. Our gravel site with 30amp electric and water was very level with a nice picnic table and fire ring. Sites are spaced a bit wider than most RV parks. The shower/restroom was nicely laid out and spotless. Mature oaks and evergreens provide shade over most sites. The hosts were pleasant and run a small store as well. Noise from the nearby I5 highway (~100 yards) was muffled by the trees but still audible -- not too bad. Sunny Valley is a lovely spot. Give this RV park a try -- you won't regret it.
Phone service on Verizon was poor, but the WiFi was the best I've ever had at any campground -- we were streaming video all evening with almost no interruptions.

Grass in Northern Nevada? You bet, watered by springs and carefully tended by the owners. Good Clean showers and restrooms, ample tent area. Make sure to arrive before dark because they don’t take later arrivals.

Easy checkin process, friendly staff. Well maintained and clean bathrooms showers and gym open all night with code. Best and cleanest gravel sites we’ve ever had, no mud from heavy rains just before arrival. Nice play area for kids and dog area for fido. ¼ mile from I40, not much noise. GC train was fun to see and hear horns in late afternoon, none at night. A great overnight spot, or longer.

Stayed one night on our way up to Oregon coast. CA state parks are expensive for no hookups but showers were available unlike Oregon SPs. Nice setting in trees on a bluff above the river but right next to 101 trucks. Coffee/bar/gent store across the highway. Facilities were clean and in good shape.

Beautiful spot overlooking the lake in a pine/fir forest with open understory. No hookups or showers. Lake is great for kayaks etc, swimming and we saw fish jumping esp at dusk. Very quiet, only ⅓ full sites midweek. Clean restrooms.

Forest service campgrounds have no hookups or showers but the price is cheap. Short hikes to falls and Clear Lake were fun. Clean pit toilets. Very peaceful in a pine/fir forest with open understory. Creek just below camp if you hike down cross country.
Verizon LTE available on trail to Clear Lake ½ mile up.
