Then we were greeted by the most upbeat and helpful staff of our 30 day trip around the U.S., and that is saying something because we have met many great folks. They arranged an almost immediate shuttle into nearby Williams, AZ (a surprise all its own because it has so much to do!!) and were Johnny on the Spot with the personalized return shuttle a few hours later. The advice we were given about where to eat was perfect [be sure to drop into "Cruisers", especially if you want a good steak dinner]. We managed to get in a Zipline ride before returning to the park. The free breakfast was great, too. Wish we had more time but we will definitely be coming back.
What a great campground! Fun things for the kids to do. Staff was welcoming and breakfast was great!
On site manager was very helpful and personable. The facilities were all clean. The pull through camp sites were very easy to get in and out of. If you want to eat out, eat at the Red Raven!! We will be staying here again!!
Great campground in a wide open space with lots of sky. It can be windy, probably a bit more exposed than some other Williams RV parks. Walk to town. Sites are good size, there's muffled highway and train noise. Nice hot tubs, a laundry, great fire pit for socializing, pleasant staff. One hour drive to Grand Canyon.....we went two days in a row.

I stayed here for two nights while visiting Williams. Williams itself is a cute little town with lots to do. I chose this park over others in town because of the off leash dog area (which turns out are two 10x10 areas with not much area to run). Even though it was nice I would probably choose another park in town.
The park itself is about a 20 minute walk through a semi rundown neighborhood or on one road with few sidewalks and a busy road. Not so bad, but I probably wouldn’t walk it after dark.
You are directly on the railroad so you will hear the train tooting it’s horn at 6:30 am and multiple times throughout the morning. It’s also close to the highway so you also have that. I use a sound machine and could still hear the noise.
Sites are gravel, level and are packed in. WiFi was good during the day but slow when everyone returns to their RV.
They do have nice facilities with a “spa”, dog wash, recycling and a continental breakfast from 8-10 am.

We stayed for three nights and really liked this park. We didn't bring our tow car so we used the free shuttle to go to town a few times and to Bearizona once. The owners usually drive the shuttle and are really nice friendly people with lots of info and advice about local businesses and activities. The sites are pretty tight but not horrible. They provide a free home-made waffle breakfast with hard-boiled eggs and coffee. They have a sauna, and two spas which looked great but we didn't use them because we were too far away. Although the park is close to the railroad tracks and I-40 the noise is not bad - we can hardly hear the highway and trains aren't going by all the time. We will probably be back.

Im giving this 1 star partially based off my mistake in not clarifying with the park...
We picked this RV park for three main reasons
1. Free shuttle
2. Free breakfast (coffee after up all night w infant YUMMM)
3. 2 hot tubs
Well... after bundling up myself and my infant up to face the cold at exactly 6:55 to go get some coffee at the ‘continental breakfast’- NADA. Nothing is open!!!! Ghost town.
Come to find out these things are only offered seasonally. ?!?
Extremely disappointed.

We stop in on our way back to Pennsylvania from the west coast 2 years ago. This is not one of those fancy, smancy RV Resorts but it definitely is a great place that has a lot to offer. The staff was terrific from the time we first hit the front gate. Could not be more welcoming. The RV park itself was very clean and quiet. We did not get to take full advantage of all the amenities they had to offer. We did take advantage of a great breakfast, fellowship with staff, owners, and other RVers that was provided for all of the RVers.
The staff also arranged a really great day trip on the Grand Canyon Railway to the South Rim of the grand Canyon for us and it was absolutely great.
We definitely enjoyed our time at Railside RV Ranch and look forward to doing it again.

This campground was cute and well-appointed, but it was also cramped and quite loud. We expected the noise from the train as well as traffic on I-40. What we didn't expect was the loud sounds of the gravel inside the park (even just people walking on it) as well as the nearby excavation site. The park is in the industrial part of town and just down the road from the fairgrounds. The pull-thru sites are quite level, but are very close together and rather short. One neighbor had to park their truck extremely close to our slide and the other neighbor's vehicle was right by our picnic table. The park does offer some great amenities including hot waffles and cereal in the clubhouse for breakfast. We also enjoyed the free pet wash (aka pet spa)! The fitness center and clubhouse are impressive and the laundry, though small, offered some of the lowest prices we have seen yet ($1.00 to wash; .$.50 to dry). The wifi was almost unusable, but Verizon and AT&T signals were strong.

Date of stay: Sept. 27-29, price reflects military/veteran discount...While we don't spend a lot of time at the pricier RV parks, every so often we need to, and we really enjoyed this one. The staff was super nice and accommodating. The sites are not large, but they are level and easily accessible with FHUs. The layout of the buildings is a bit odd, but they are so cute with a pet spa, fitness center, showers/restrooms, outdoor grills and fire pits, two hot tubs, and a sauna. The laundry room is small, but with great prices $1.25/wash, $.50/45 mins dry and it really dries the first time. The big barn (all buildings are done in the same rustic style and very well-maintained) is where the daily continental breakfast is served, offering fresh-made waffles, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, instant oatmeal, OJ, tea, and coffee. The entire upstairs of the barn is a recreational space with ping-pong, billiards, darts, a reading corner with fireplace, games/puzzles, and a lovely view. As the park's name suggests, it borders the railroad tracks for the train that runs up to the Grand Canyon, but it doesn't run frequently or at night, so it's never a problem. Plenty of OATV. We didn't use the cable TV or WiFi.
