No signage on the highway indicating it was closed - parking lot was gated and I could barely turn around. Google Maps does say it is temporarily closed and there is road construction in the area.

Right along the trans Canada highway in the community of Wolseley. Free dump adjacent to a tourist information building. Lots of room for big rigs to get in and turn around.

Lovely gazebo covers several picnic tables.

Esso station there as well but dump is free.

Water at the dump - unsure if it is potable.

Free dump at the shell station located around back. Can’t complain about free BUT be forewarned that the ground is sloped the wrong way for drainage. I used a stack of lynx levelers to compensate.

Also, they put cement pillars in to protect the dump port but the pillars are a good 6 feet out so that makes it tricky to position your rig close enough for your hose to reach the hole.

Also the port is raised several inches above ground level meaning if you spill, you can’t just flush it in the hole. Gross.

There is a water hose with a sprayer head even and great water pressure so you can at least spray any spillage onto the grass behind the port.

I believe the water is potable if you use your own hose to fill your tank but verify inside if you are concerned.

I’m sure by now you have a picture in your mind of how this went for me. Needless to say, it wasn’t my smoothest dump experience. But hey, it was free!

Please support the Shell station by buying gas if you dump. Thank you!

Pretty, private campground 2 minutes from the entrance to Arrowhead PP with sites nestled along the Big East River. Campground offers a range of options including full-hook-up seasonal sites, partial hook ups for transient campers and tenting sites that back on the river. Everything you need is here: water, electric, sani-dump, bathrooms, garbage and recycling. Location is also right at the north end of the lovely summer tourist town of Huntsville where you will find everything you need!

The lagoons are the stagnant portions of the river that have been cut off and are now lovely wildlife oases right in the campground with turtles and bird life.

There is a lovely sandy beach at an elbow in the river perfect for swimming, with both still water and a decent current to swim against for a great workout! You can also paddle up the river from this beach to the bottom of Stubbs falls a short manageable paddle even against the current.

Staff are very friendly and helpful! I loved my stay here and cannot recommend enough! Excellent cell signal throughout the campground.

This place has everything:

Dump for $10 plus tax, discount to $3 if you have a membership with them as in the USA.

There are 2 dump ports - when you pay inside they will give you a code that will release the cover so you can access.

Fresh water fill also available from a single spigot near the dumps.

Showers available for $14.

Propane fill available.

Overnight RV parking allowed and there is a friendly welcome sign for RVers which is nice. It’s a truck stop so there will be noisy trucks around. But if you want a place where you are allowed to stay overnight for free in Saskatoon, this is it.

Uclelet and Tofino are both high end, resort type towns with Tofino about 1/2 the size and 2x the price of Ucluelet. Most RV parks are charging a premium. Green Point is the National Park campground which means it is usually booked up and even if you can get a site, you will need to purchase a National Parks day pass to camp there at an additional charge.

Wya Surf Shop is a rarity in the area offering dry camping to RVers for $20. You can get electric and water for $30 if you prefer (unsure about sewer). All campers have access to their shower building ($1 per minute but instant hot water and good pressure). This place caters to the surfer crowd but you don't have to be a surfer to camp here. Also, they seem to be flying a bit under the radar - there were only 2 RV campers there on the Thanksgiving Long weekend (October) including us, when basically everywhere else was booked up.

I don't want to sugar coat it - it's basically a single open loop with RV sites side by side on the outside, plus they have additional walk-in tent sites in the forest. However, we were super happy to find this place for it's great location and affordable price as a home base to explore the town of Ucluelet to the south and the National Parks beaches, trails, and visitor centre to the north.

The check in process was super lax in stark contrast to the highly involving process of registering to stay at Green Point down the road. They have a surf shop with clothes for sale and a restaurant that was closed when we were there. BTW, the office is only open 9-5 - if you arrive after hours, you should be okay to just set up at a site and pay in the morning when they arrive.

Scenic free camping location about 35 minutes east of Strathmore and 30 minutes south of Drumheller. About 1 hour from Calgary!

Good cell signal on high ground but gets weaker down by the water.

We camped on the hill to the right of the main drive in. Footing is grass but with dirt patches. Dirt here turns to sticky mud with rain so choose your spot carefully if wet weather is in the forecast during your stay.

Friendly community of campers were staying for several months at the water's edge on the north side of the resevoir when I was there in Oct 2019. No stay limit currently at this location.

Possible to drive around and camp on the south side but the road gets sketchy after the turn around. Scout this first if you are unsure.

Some road noise from adjacent gravel road but traffic is very infrequent and mostly farm equipment.

Pit toilets and garbage dumpsters on site.

No water or sanidump. Free potable water is available at the municipal campground in Standard, about 15 minute drive south. Standard also has a dump for $5 but it was locked when I was there on Oct 4, 2019.

One stop for all your needs: dump and potable water fill, costs $2 whether you gas up or not, pay inside. Propane was cheap for BC - $21 for a 20lb BBQ tank. They also have a shower here and a car wash including a super tall bay for big rigs.

Shower is a single room in the car wash building. Get a key from the cashier to access, coin operated loonies. I only needed one loonie and it basically ran without stopping. Water was lovely hot though not huge pressure. Shower stall was large but the entire shower area was pretty dirty and there was just a small table and no hooks. Bring shower shoes and enjoy the hot water!

Gas price competitive with the rest of town and about 10 cents per litre cheaper than in Nanaimo 1.5 hours to the south. Right next door is the liquor store – what more do you need?!

The 9.5 km drive down this forest road InShuckCh from highway 99 took me the better part of 30 minutes. The road is gravel, a bit hilly and windy, and 4wd is recommended but maybe not required depending on your vehicle. You will enjoy spectacular views of Lilleot Lake along the way.

Twin One Creek is the first campground down this road that has RV sites, (Strawberry is hike in tent camping only with a parking lot) but Lizzie Lake and Driftwood farther down also have RV accessible sites. There are about 17 sites along a dirt road that winds through the forest and comes back out to the forest road. We were fine with our truck towing a small travel trailer. I wouldn’t bring a class A or 5th wheel through here.

We arrived on a Sunday in June and the campground was busy! A couple large groups had taken over the sites near the water and were playing music but they did settle down after 10pm or so. There were a few available sites at the end of the campground to choose from in the woods – we entered from the exit and were able to reverse into the unnumbered site across from site 16 (presumably site 17?).

We paid $13 at the iron ranger and I went swimming in the clean, crisp lake water to cool off after a hot day of driving. The spot where I swam looked appropriate for launching a boat but it wasn’t developed at all. Mosquitoes were present and cell signal was marginal. Logging trucks did go rushing by on the forest road in the morning. The “creek” was a rushing torrent with a bridge nearby for the forest road to cross over it. It was close enough to our site that it provided pleasant white noise in the background.

Ample oversized parking, outdoor washrooms adjacent to upper parking lot. Building has indoor washrooms and a small gift shop selling indigenous art and snacks. No tourist information- that has moved to Kenora.

No signage prohibiting overnight parking but trucks come and go so it would be a noisy spot.
