When you first pull in and notice the lack of shade, you might be apprehensive. This is a new, family owned park, with newly planted young trees. However it is located near the banks of the Paluxie River - where there is a constant cool breeze. We stayed during a weekday and also the weekend. The owners planned activities during the weekend including a movie night, hay ride, pumpkin painting for kids, Kona Ice, and a S'mores evening. Wifi was excellent and the pool/hot tub was clean and refreshing. The onsite store has craft sodas from Dublin, TX and lots of yummy snacks. All sites are pull through, very level, and have new power, water, sewer hookups. You even have a private entrance to the nearby state park hiking system. Even though it filled up on the weekend, everyone was respectful of their neighbors. It was quite after 10pm. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location to access the Big Bend National Park. We stayed here 4 nights. Owners are friendly, the sites are clean, level, and all utilities work. The WiFi is excellent. There is no T-mobile signal or native AT&T. Our AT&T hotspot would roam on 311-40 (USA-Commnet). However, you don't need it - data on the park wifi was superb. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

The park staff were super friendly. Each site has a large pine tree that provides some shade in the afternoon. The park wifi was excellent. Even the cable worked. This is a quiet park in general with lots of late afternoon shade available.

This KOA is centrally located, quiet, shaded, and clean. We stayed there for 8 days while visiting friends in the area. Fort Worth, Arlington, and even Dallas are early to get to from here. The park was about 3/4 full with many monthly campers. However, everyone was friendly and courteous. The sites are a little close together, but the large mature shade trees make up for nearness to neighbors.

Great location near hiking and Crater Lake! Spacious sites, clean bathhouse, and quiet. There are several private trails and and a nearby forest lake to explore. I was able to register 3 bars of AT&T LTE with an RV65 cell booster. My wife and I work full time from the road, using Zoom and Teams, so internet is a must. The park wifi is actually quite good if you can get a signal. The trees have grown over the years and create a lot of interference. If you need to work from the road, tell the office when you make your reservation so they can put you near an unobstructed repeater. The town of Prospect has 5 water falls to explore, and other near by towns have plenty of hiking and water falls.

Older, quaint park. Several pull thorough sites. Water pressure a little low. Very friendly host. A little confusing check in because there ar two entrances and the office is at top of the hill at one entrance. If you enter from the other side it is difficult to find.

This is an urban park. However the management is very accommodating. You can walk or bike the Orange Blossom trail directly from the park. Other trail heads are a short drive away. The laundry and bathhouse are super clean. Very friendly atmosphere. We plan on staying another month in the fall.

This is a convenient, clean, mostly pull through sites near I-5 and Redding. Spots are level. Wifi decent. However, their laundry hours are inconvenient (8:30am to 5pm). We arrived at 3pm, setup, went to the laundry at 3:40 and were told that we could not put in a load because it closed at 5. Our previous park was remote and did not have a laundry so we planned to used this one before heading to Yosemite. Ended up finding a local laundromat. Also when we checked in I was told not to leave anything (chairs, etc) out over night because vagrants may come through and steal them. ???? Needless to stay, you don't want to get comfortable and stay more than one night. I've been full-time for a year. This is my first park less than 4 stars. If they installed a gate/fence and a key-code lock on the laundry, it would have been a 4.

The Pleasant Valley RV Park is just outside of Tillamook, OR to the south. It is a perfect location near hiking, short drives to the coast, and several state parks. There is no T-Mobile cell signal at all, but AT&T had 3 LTE bars. However the park WiFi was excellent. Both my wife and I were able to work online the entire week (think Zoom and Teams). My guess is that 3/4 of the park is for full time residents. The spots open for transients are pull through and very long. Laundry and bathhouse were clean and well maintained The only negative is that the sites are very narrow and your curb/patio side is only 3 feet wide until you get into your neighbors sewer/pedestal. Other than that we have no complaints.

We stayed overnight in the way to the Custer, SD. It had a great fishing stream, swimming pool, and short walking trail. It even had a multi-sport court for basketball or tennis. It is several miles off the interstate so it is very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.
