“family & pet friendly”
Pleasant Valley RV Park is a full-service family and pet-friendly RV Park nestled in an idyllic wooded coastal valley 6 ½ miles south of Tillamook, Oregon on Highway 101. All 76 sites are pull-through and large enough for the biggest RVs. Most sites are shaded, with picnic tables and fire rings. Wireless Internet, propane, laundry, dumpsite, playground, and mini-mart are available on-site. Cabins are also available. We also have a large meeting room and kitchen available for group use. The park is approximately 20 minutes from the ocean and close to Tillamook County’s famous fishing, clamming, and crabbing areas. Sightseeing, hiking, and shopping opportunities are also nearby.

Quiet park, even tho it's right on Hwy 101. Beautiful views of the Coast Range. Owners obviously take great pride, great trees, beautiful flowering plants, buildings are spotless and comfy. Clean and updated coded door restroom/shower/laundry facility with separate private restroom/shower combo rooms and efficient inexpensive laundry machines
They also have three or four camping cabins
Full hookups in nearly all spots (they're currently installing sewer to the last ten or fifteen sites), all with free DirectTV, great Wi-Fi (up to 150Mbps!), city good water, 30 and 50 amp electric
Sweet, adorable dwarf bunnies hop around throughout the park. So cute!! They're not tame, they're shy...but will gather if you put out carrot or Apple slices for them!! Also a fenced in area with six cute goats and one disabled alpaca (they love fruit n veggies too!)
Huge dog walking areas with easy access to two creeks/small shallow and slow rivers.
Sweet tiny playground for kids.
Roads are well maintained dark gravel (frequently watered and 'steamrolled' smooth) with 5mph limit.
Very reasonable daily & weekly rates. Well stocked store with RV supplies, some groceries, toys and souvenirs and sundries very well priced. Even some cold groceries (eggs, milk, soft drinks and beer!)
I intended on staying a week, and it's so peaceful and serene....I've been here for 7 weeks, and have no immediate plans to leave! There are a few monthly residents, all friendly with neat and clean rigs and sites
One plus is, that this summer while hearing about 100°+ days elsewhere, it's been consistently about 65° highs and 55° nights here!
Only negatives I've found:
No true fenced in dog park, but LOTS of space. Fencing that does exist is barbed wire, surrounded by bushes and trees.
Spaces are long, but quite tight in most spots. No problem with my EL Expedition and 34ft trailer, or for any of the gigantic Class As that visit. Just enough room between rigs for the picnic table (provided at each space), or a few chairs and a small fire pit. But, there's so much open area within the park, and so many spaces to choose from, that it doesn't seem cramped
There is ZERO cell service from any carrier here, even with a signal booster. Most newer phones have Wi-Fi calling and texting available tho.

Lots of semi tame bunnies running around the campground. Very Quiet even though it appears that several sites are long term guests. Recently upgraded WiFi. Sites relatively level and somewhat narrow but we had no trouble negotiating the park and site with our 35 ft motor home pulling a 20 ft cargo trailer. Park was very clean as well. Would definitely stay here again.

The people in registration were very nice ..and we loved the flora ... the surrounding landscape was gorgeous... Sadly several of the full timers didn’t keep up their areas and it looked very depressing. We found a pile of nails in the muddy road just outside our space and tried to pick them all up, but clearly the park was not being monitored for trash and debris..

This older park if a bit of a mix of semi-permanent and travelers. It is well maintained and the laundry and the bathrooms were clean and in good working order. The sites are narrow and ours was not completely level. Looks like each site has a fire pit and picnic table, but not a lot of room between rigs. The WiFi was good.
The nicest thing is it’s proximity to the coast. Capes Kiwanda, Lookout, and Meares are 30 minutes away. You can easily see all three in a day, but stay a while and take your time. Also this park is away from the busyness of the tourist towns in the area while
giving you access to all of them

The Pleasant Valley RV Park is just outside of Tillamook, OR to the south. It is a perfect location near hiking, short drives to the coast, and several state parks. There is no T-Mobile cell signal at all, but AT&T had 3 LTE bars. However the park WiFi was excellent. Both my wife and I were able to work online the entire week (think Zoom and Teams). My guess is that 3/4 of the park is for full time residents. The spots open for transients are pull through and very long. Laundry and bathhouse were clean and well maintained The only negative is that the sites are very narrow and your curb/patio side is only 3 feet wide until you get into your neighbors sewer/pedestal. Other than that we have no complaints.

Staff wasn’t so welcoming. Dog park had poop everywhere! Please people, be courteous to others, I’m getting tired of picking YOUR dogs poop (you know who you are) so that My dog and myself don’t step in it! The long timers don’t really care for their spaces so much. Spaces are nothing to write home about. Roads in and out are narrow. We have a return overnight scheduled, but I think we’ll cancel. Not worth 65.00 a night!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The facility was clean. The bathrooms and shower were clean. I only wish there were shower curtains on the showers even though they are in their own private rooms it would have kept the water from spraying everywhere. Lots of bunnies and a wonderful area for walking the dogs.
