Stayed here 2 nights while on the way to Kodachrome Basin. First off its not much. Its a flat safe spot for 14 bucks a night. Red dirt road dispersed near up the road from it. Unless you have 4wd don't even attempt to turn down the road. Pulling a trailer don't do it. (this is referring to red dirt road dispersed right next to it). Back to beehive, the location you cant beat. It is right beside Glen Canyon Dam, 5 Minutes from horseshoe bend, and there's a walking trail beside the campground. If you want to get it in the lake, drive across the dam take your first right and follow the road all the way to its end. Walk down the rock cliffs and there you are. This would have gotten a 4th star if there had been a restroom. But you are paying 14 bucks for a flat spot and the proximity, and also feels safe. If you dont wanna pay the 14, go to walmart, campers are there all day.

First off try to enter the park during the day. When entering at night the campground gets a bit confusing. We came in at night and weren't sure if we were in a spot or not. There seems to be 6 spots 2 on the direct right when you enter the campground and 2 on the opposite end. It may be hard to get a bigger rig or trailer to the other side due to low trees. The there are 2 directly in front of you when you enter. The road to get in to the campground is almost 2 miles so stay the course. Its basic but it feels safe and secluded. Also you must register online before entering. After that they will give you the code to the lock at the gate. Like I said try to enter during the day. They also have firepits and picnic tables. Enjoy

We only stayed here for one night. Best BLM and i have ever been on. Flat spots, easy access, and beautiful. Only stayed one night due to having to be in Page Arizona the next day. If you want to disperse camp and see GC. Stay here.

Hello all we stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Sedona. Great location in regards to flagstaff. Only 5 miles from town and close to great hiking. Recommend fat mans loop to Elden lookout...bring water and your hiking poles if you have them. Elden lookout is a tough trail. Back to the camping area. Getting in is tricky due to ditch lines, we got in just take it slow, the jayco doesnt have great clearance and we navigated fine. Quiet place and its right next to the monument. Highly recommend. Cell coverage is spotty. We have verizon.

Many campers in the parking lot. Signs say dont leave it there for hours. Safe stop through spot.

Stayed here for one night on a pass through to Arizona. For 13.75 thats tax and all it isnt bad. You get power and water. The bathrooms could be better but for 13.75 its a shower and a bathroom. Take you own toilet paper btw. The camp host is very nice. We actually made our reservation via text. I give it four stars because you cant beat 13.75. There are alot of long term campers there also. NIce little spot. You can also dig for crystals which we did not do. However everyone else was and there were quite a few that were very large.

Stayed here 1 night on the way to badlands. Upon arrival you cant pay there you have to pay online, then they add a non resident fee, then also try to add a 6 dollar park fee. Big campground, not lit very well, kinda creepy. Otherwise beautiful spot. Will come back in summer months.

Loud campground, we stayed right beside the store with the fence in between us. A chainlink fence. We got to see everyone stop and pump gas and use their restroom. That restroom runs out of hand towels fast. I heard a lot of that. Everyone in crescent city has removed their muffler also. Its loud. Very close to the road. Campground needs improved as in site quality. The bathrooms are nice. We had to request a fire pit. However if yo dont have one you can just pile up some rocks and make a fire ring, which we were directed to do. Do not plan on quietness or privacy. However you are very close to the redwoods. If you can live with the other stuff stay here. Also go to Seaquake brewing and try the tacos.

Great quiet state park near Winslow and 35 miles from petrified forrest. The best thing about his place is how quiet it is. Great place to relax and unwind. Go see the ruins they are kinda neat as well.

So we attended st Bernard during the coronavirusapocalypse and it was great. The park is a great escape and feels as if it is 100 miles away from all of the craziness. But in real time you are 30 minutes from the French quarter and very accessible to NOLA. If you want to go to the city and still camp...stay here. The park is great and quiet we loved it. GBO.
