We stayed for a week, so got the weekly rate for a full hookup pull thru. Park is well laid out, with level well-spaced sites, is clean and has everything we needed. It's convenient to groceries, restaurants and other services and is an easy drive to Pensacola and the beaches. The place is brand new in 2023, so everything is still new. Laundry facility is great and not expensive; love the large table across from the machines for folding laundry. It has a nice pool and pool house/clubhouse but we were here when the temps were too cool to use it. There's a dumpster near the entrance, but there are garbage cans dispersed through the park so it's not too far to walk to dispose of garbage. There aren't any firepits or picnic tables at the sites, but there are some sprinkled around the facility for anyone to use. There's also a nice stone firepit and some tables and chairs at the far end of the park for use by anyone. On-site owner/managers are helpful and pleasant. There are some trees planted but they're still small, so not big enough to throw shade or cause obstructions. Works for us as we have solar panels and use Starlink for internet, so no worries about obstructions for either. Really like the online reservations and the ability to select a specific site. More and more campgrounds are offering that, and it's a great feature.

Not sure why this park is less than half full, but no complaints from us! Sites are level and well laid out. Looks like they are still working on clearing damage from the ice storm a couple months ago. About half the park is located in a lovely sycamore grove and the rest is mostly open. The spot we’d reserved was in the trees but we needed a clear view to the north for our Starlink, and they accommodated us with no issue. The laundry and bath room building are clean and well maintained. There is some road noise, but it’s not overwhelming. There is also a chicken coop at one end of the park and the roosters do start early with their crowing, but if you use earplugs, it’s not an issue. There are trails and fire pits available in the park, and the sites have adjacent concrete pads. No picnic tables at sites, but that’s really not a concern for us. The entrance is controlled by a gate with a code for an extra measure of privacy and security. We’ll definitely be back when we are in the area again.

We were on our way west through the area and needed a one-night stay. Called for availability and was advised they have plenty of space (given the downturn in the local oil industry, there are fewer long-term residents) and they were happy to have us. The office is only open for a couple hours a day at this time. The person answering the phone was pleasant and helpful and provided all the information we needed to find the spot and get settled. The two rockets (thus the name) at the entrance make it easy to spot the place from a distance. All spots are back-ins and the utilities are protected by foot-high posts and bars which act as guides into the site. Sites are close to one another but since there were not a lot of sites filled, we had some bufffer. Everything is neat and clean and well-tended. Some noise from the road during the day but not disruptive.

We pulled into the north side of the parking lot, under a tree. Checked in with the manager because there was a sign that said no camping/overnight parking, but were told it was fine for one night. There was one other RV nearby. Definitely noise from Highway 281 and bright lights from the parking lot but nothing earplugs and blackout shades can’t handle. We did buy some items from the Walmart to make sure we ‘earned our keep’.
Good cell service; Verizon download 34 upload 4.2; AT&T 28, upload 3.

Called ahead and confirmed the first-come-first-served pollicy. Quick check-in, with a gate code to access the secured RV area. Sites are level gravel pull-thrus with full hookups on curbed islands between sites. There were only two other RVs in the campground when we arrived. It does not appear this is being used for long-term stays as mentioned in an earlier review...or at least that's no longer the case since it was submitted. There is some noise from I-40 and the access roads, but it's not bad. Convenient location for a one-night stop.

Not a classic campground, but that’s just fine with us. We were greeted by the owners as we arrived and they were able to help us avert disaster with an electrical issue in our camper right after we arrived. There is a large area around the camping section that is full of wildlife and there are views of mountains in just about all directions. The night skies are relatively dark so it made for some great Astro-photography opportunities. We walked the “back 40” and spotted prairie dogs and lots of grassland birds.

The sites were gravel and a little uneven and the utilities were a little dated, but the campground was clean and the staff very helpful. The location is lovely, with views of the mountains and an arm of the Great Salt Lake in the distance. We were in a back-to-back site but there was no one behind us during our Sunday night stay. Easy access to the highway, but it still felt like we were miles away.

Discovered the entry/address had changed when we arrived at the old address (listed in Campendium when we selected this campground - September 2023). The entry to the campground has been moved to a new address: 3775 Krouse Road. There was a very small sign on the way in for the new entry/address, but if you aren't looking for it and are aiming to the old entrance/address, it's easy to miss. Caution: if you try to go to the old address (1255 S. Ruess Road), it's a challenge to get turned around on the narrow farm roads - probably best to drive all the way around back to the main highway first (which we did not do and got ourselves into a tight turnaround situation).

Internal roads are gravel and well maintained, though they could be wider. Sites are all back-in and are not angled to make access easy (you have to park vertical to the internal road), so really big rigs and long trailers may find it difficult to get into the sites in the center. The center sites are not exceptionally deep but are wide enough so there is sufficient space to park next to the RV. There are some young trees between the sites that may make accessing the sites even more challenging as they mature.

Center sites are all pea gravel; sites on the perimeter are separated with grass strips. Sites are mostly level and have picnic tables and fire rings. We use Starlink and selected this site as it had minimal tree obstructions.

We stayed here in late September, so things were quiet. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Nice Campground, poorly designed for trailers over 25-30 feet. Its extremely difficult to back in because the road between the site in front of you is a single lane, it doesn't allow you to make the necessary cut to back in, It would be much easier if the road to the site was a double lane and if boulders, trees and posts on either corner side of your site were not there. This applies to all mostly 90% of all sites. OK for Class C's, Vans, Class B's and Truck campers.

This time of the year in Oct (off-season) the place is very quiet. The wrong address is listed in Campendium. Their website is correct. The location is nice and close to larger supermarkets, The place is nicely kept. I would hate being here during the busy season. Great if you have kids, it's a family with kids magnet. its has all the usual amenities.

We've stayed here twice for a week at a time, once with our truck camper and once pulling a 27' Airstream. They offer a weekly rate of $98 for the week which is excellent for what you get. Level gravel spots that are plenty long for most rigs. Full hookups and nice picnic tables at each site, with well-groomed grass in between sites and all around the camping area. Plenty of space for walking pets. It is a bit noisy as it's at the intersection of US 69 and I-44, and there are regular freight trains that come through but all quite tolerable for the price (especially if you have ear plugs for sleeping).

The park is owned/managed by Bruckners Diesel service [as of January 2023, we were told it's no longer called Cabin Diesel Service due to a change in ownership]. The campground was set up to provide RVers coming in for service with a place to stay while getting service done on their diesel engines but is available for anyone wanting to stay, subject to availability. Recommended to call them during their business hours to confirm a spot. We arrived after they closed on a Saturday (they close at noon and are not open on Sundays), but just pulled into a site and paid for it when they opened for business on Monday (we had called ahead and confirmed our stay before arriving). Both times we have been here (May and August), there have been available spots. Most visitors seem to be overnighters passing through. For overnight stays, they have a registration box out front of the business office for anyone who arrives after business hours.
