Museum is right on the main drag into town, turn left on Crowley just before the "castle" jail building and curl around to park between the train cars. Level gravel lot. Nearby Frontier Museum, car museum, antique store, ice cream shop and other businesses further into town (we didn't explore). Nice stop over on the way west to Spokane (4hrs).

There are signs that say No Overnight Parking, but we asked and it was no problem. Maybe 7-10 RVs with us off in the far corners to stay out of the way of store traffic. Quiet.
Huge parking lot wraps around the store. Called ahead to confirm they still allow 1 night stays. Only advice is to stay away from the road side fence, behind the garden center. Very noisy.
Our first boondocks experience. All full at the Lake of Fire Atlatl campsite led us south to this place. First, the road in is bumpy, but once here, the various split-off roads to spots can be very rutted, especially the further down you get to the water. Many spots up top are easier for Class A’s . Loved the views, but the persistent 20mph Spring winds took the fun out of staying. If you go, please pick up after your dog!

We are on the road for a year and as such, made this reservations months ahead. While in MI, I broke my wrist and needed surgery followed by Physical Therapy. This set us back about six weeks, resulting in us having to cancel many reservations. Smugglers was the only campground who refused to give a refund. Instead, they hold onto customers deposits as a credit towards a future stay. So I guess we'll be going back. She commented that she had "years of credits" for cancelled reservations that were never reused. Very selfish and inflexible under my circumstances.

This is a huge RV park with many owned sites that have been landscaped. We were in Traverse City for medical care and this place was wonderful. First we stayed in the 200's area which is wide open, big sites and a great dog run area. We then moved into a gorgeous spot right by the lake that was owned and landscaped. Quiet neighbors. The park is divided into 10-site "circle camps" so you don't sense the size of it. The office staff was awesome, very accommodating. Mail and package delivery.

This was just an average experience for us. Treed area. Our site was tight with no room to enjoy outside. No satellite due to the trees. No activities due to COVID. Poor wifi and cell service. About 40 min to Crater Lake. We drove to Lost Lake to fish.

This little spot is in the urban center of Morro Bay. Brick paved with tiered gravel sites. Owners were welcoming. Good cell and satellite coverage.

Rate is Passport America. We were in the front row on the river. Everything said in the reviews is ditto here as far as hospitality, cleanliness, bring food, etc. Wish sites could be a little further apart though. We drove down to where the river comes into the ocean, which requires a bit of a walk around to get to the oceanfront. Large seals swam up to greet us and the water were beautifully turbulent from the joining of currents. No luck fishing though.
