I reserved through our Coast-to-Coast membership (thus the $10 rate) under the name Passport to Leisure, apparently an old name since I saw some aged signs with it. Google Maps calls it Tangi Pines, and all the signage on the entrance reads as Jellystone. As other reviews note, it shows its age. We came during February, so not much of a crowd to deal with, even though we did stay through Mardi Gras. We found the staff helpful, though they seemed understaffed for such a big park. We checked out several local businesses in Robert since we had some maintenance issues. Highly recommend Robert Tire just down the road as well as the local hardware store, and Robert Supermarket has a fine selection as well as inexpensive gas prices. So, lots of positives, but come expecting an old and old-fashioned campground. Careful of the potholes!

The other reviews here sound overly harsh. We have stayed at TL South and this park seems pretty similar, especially off-season. We needed to check in at TL South to get the gate code, which I wish we would have known, but it all worked out fine. The laundry room, while small, worked fine for us. Every other amenity had closed, but we expected that. North has a bit more nature to explore, paths to bike, and hills to negotiate. Otherwise, it seemed just as adequate as South, and the area has many attractions to explore.

If you want to visit Gettysburg National Military Park (always overwhelming) or the Eisenhower Farm (not-so-whelming), they are both just a matter of a couple miles up the road from here. We stayed as Coast-to-Coast members (thus the only $10) and we also have a Travel Resorts of America membership at a different park. We've now visited several TRA sites and have liked each for different reasons. Gettysburg Battlefield Resort has many campsites as well as a pleasant staff. Some of the park rules seemed a bit odd (laundry closed at 4 p.m., the Lodge closed almost every time I wanted to go), but overall a well-kept campground.

Only a few miles from the other Thousand Trails campground in the area, but a very different feel. Forest Lake seems much more of a back to nature, while Lake Myers has a more residential vibe. Still, a beautiful lake as well as space to relax. Many seasonal/annual campers, but we enjoyed talking to our neighbors and the park staff as well. Quality laundry facilities and a handy air pump available right at the office. We traded in our travel trailer (which we loved but needed more space) for a motorhome at nearby Campers Inn Mocksville. We would recommend the sales and service there.

[Stayed here in March 2021 but I forgot to post a review.]

Easy access off the Interstate. We used our Coast-to-Coast membership for easy booking. They also charged $5/night for electricity, but OK, that seems reasonable enough, I guess. The 50 amp area seems a little better maintained than the 30 amp, where we stayed. It had just rained, so a lot of water in the sites, still able to find a fairly level spot. Both the water and electric hookups looked fifty years old, but they worked. Unadilla seems like a small, hard-hit economically town but we met friendly people at the library, post office, grocery stores, et al. We had a very friendly greeting at the office as well. Keep your expectations in check and you'll have a nice stay.

For those who care, Highland Woods and Breezy Hill run basically as the same property--only a fence separates them and check in at HW actually happens at Breezy Hill. However, I liked the atmosphere at HW--smaller, doesn't have the gate hassles, and much quieter. The ratio of French-Canadiens seems even higher here; only a small number of campers don't have Quebec plates. Everyone seemed friendly and helpful, at least as far as residents go. I don't think I saw a park employee at either place in the almost a month we spent between them. No problems though, so no complaints here. I also enjoy hearing the French and Spanish spoken at various campsites throughout the park. Come to think of it, I don't think I heard any English outside our own spot...

50th Review--woo hoo!
We stayed here on our way from Florida to New England. I bought a used membership to Travel Resorts of American with Sycamore Lodge and look forward to using it in the future both in NC and at TRA and Coast-to-Coast sites. Sycamore Lodge offers quite a bit--a lake, a pool, well-kept up miniature golf and horseshoes. a ball park, and trails. We needed to use an airhose for our toad and they had one available right by the propane tank--nice! The staff really helped us out with questions and issues we took to them about our reservation. We wanted to extend a day because of an unexpected death in the family; they accommodated us very politely and helpfully.
We did have some relatively minor issues with other campers. Not worth going into detail but an annoyance that can happen at any park. I did appreciate all the space at the site and the layout of the park as a whole.

One of, the best, if not the best Thousand Trails Park’s where we have stayed. An out of the way location, but nice spots on a huge lake. We stayed in the B section since we have 30 amp service, but the park allows first come-first serve. We had a lot of shade in B, though the C section has some nice spots, very clean and level, so we may stay in that section in the future. A bit of a run to get to bigger cities, though Arley has the basic mom and pop grocery, Dollar General, and gas.

This park spreads across quite a large spot of land. We luckily ended close to the lake and enjoyed the peacefulness of the geese--tons of them--and a heron who seemed to have his spot picked out for breakfast each morning. It seems seasonal/yearly spots make up the bulk of the property, but each section felt like its own campground. Our short-term section emptied out Mondays and got crowded on the weekend with some accompanying noise and dozens of golf carts. The park has many staff members who had many different duties. Probably a hub of teen employment during summers. Several swimming pools, laundry areas (cheap!) and boats to rent. Not very close to anything, but Amboy has gas/groceries, and Dixon, about 1/2 hours has more options. Lots to like and we will return again.

Part of Thousand Trails. With nearly 1000 spots, this place about doubled the size of anywhere else we have stayed. In many ways, it seemed like staying in a trailer court or apartment complex with your nearest neighbor only a few feet away on either side. That said, I still enjoyed the park, the people camping there, and the many big rigs to take a gander at. Though not really "in nature", one can drive to one of the many nearby lakes and take in some very pretty views. Also close to quaint shops in both Eustis and Mt. Dora--I'd especially recommend Barrel of Books and Games in Mt. Dora. In addition, not a bad drive to Orlando and surrounding areas.
