More than ever the management needs to dispatch someone to assist visitors in getting into their assigned RV slips.
Over all, the RV sites and the Encore Thousand Trails RV Park is very clean, and the Park has been updated. Drawbacks is the location while being excellent it is right next to the train tracks and both the express train and freight trains pass every 20 minutes including all night long. The RV Park was converted from an old park model mobile home park thus the RV slips are very tight, parking is very limited, and at 100 percent occupancy, it is most difficult for Encore guest to park our RV.
Located in Pompano Florida, is in the heart of South East Florida; about an hour north of Miami and about 35 minutes south of Palm Beach. Restaurants, beaches, deep sea fishing, and shopping all within 15 minutes car ride. The RV Park features all kinds of activities, as well as a great place to relax next to the pool.
The part had over 80 percent French Canadian who were staying there for the season. Nothing wrong with that, and I’m happy our neighbors from the north come down to stay for the winter. However, all activates where posted in French.
All of the sites, hook up are on the wrong side. The RV Park was converted from an old park model mobile home park thus the RV slips are very tight, parking is very limited, and at 100 percent occupancy, it is most difficult for Encore guest to park our RV.

For those who care, Highland Woods and Breezy Hill run basically as the same property--only a fence separates them and check in at HW actually happens at Breezy Hill. However, I liked the atmosphere at HW--smaller, doesn't have the gate hassles, and much quieter. The ratio of French-Canadiens seems even higher here; only a small number of campers don't have Quebec plates. Everyone seemed friendly and helpful, at least as far as residents go. I don't think I saw a park employee at either place in the almost a month we spent between them. No problems though, so no complaints here. I also enjoy hearing the French and Spanish spoken at various campsites throughout the park. Come to think of it, I don't think I heard any English outside our own spot...

Great RV parks with lots of French Canadian and a few Spanish, train noise is not bad and acceptable. Site is a bit tight but useable. No picnic table on the site and sewage is on the bottom, inconvenient to setup but it’s one time. Price is very good comparing other parks. Be aware of the ant around and make sure spray ant control product around your RV even stay short term

I’m still here. First full day of 6 scheduled using Thousand trails. Overall nice park. The park is clean, and not too crowded. Location is good, close enough to Fort Lauderdale and other attractions.
Sites are tight, but long. Plenty of room for my 5th wheel. The only thing that stood out to me was the sewer connection is in the middle of the pad. So, I had to crawl under my rig to make that connection.
