Easy access from I-59. Our site was FHU, level concrete pad, very close to neighbors but rear opened to trail and woods. Road is in poor condition but the price was on point. Would definitely stop over again.

We stayed 7 nights in a Premium Back-in Riverside FHU corner site - booked a year ahead with requested site not guaranteed. Easy access to the resort. Our site was gravel, but most are paved with paved roads throughout. Excellent facilities - laundry $2 wash/$2 dry with coin machine; hot tub and pool, convenience store, several dog runs, playground. We used a hotspot instead of camp wifi. 15 minutes to Zion. 15 minutes to Hurricane for groceries, gas and RV friendly car wash (Red Dirt). The resort is very well managed and maintained. Our friends stayed in Zion Canyon RV Springdale, closer to Zion but not as nice. A++ on location and facilities.

First. The gatehouse is not manned so drive to your site. Host will bring a tag. Second. Know your site number. The turn off to sites 68-77 is before the gatehouse so watch for a small sign…we missed it. There are three camping areas - scattered sites near the gatehouse; larger area farther down with playground and fishing pier; and smaller area across the water on a cul-de-sac. We booked site 71 and our host helped us switch to 76 for the privacy and view. Sites in our area were all shaded with water and electric. Bathroom was old but clean. Two bars on AT&T phones and four bars with AT&T NH hotspot and MIMO. Dogs must be on a leash or lead, and the rangers are serious about it - our host Brandon let us borrow a lead. Our host also shared firewood but the mosquitos made early evenings a challenge to enjoy. We rode bikes around the park but no hiking trails, just fishing or bring kayaks. The lake is shallow and swampy with lovely sunsets. Jasper is nearby for stores. We liked the quiet of the campground but would likely stay four nights next visit. Sites we would book - 76, 72, 18, 23 for privacy.

This is a very well maintained FHU campground with paved road access and uniform concrete parking pads, reasonably spaced, all with paved picnic table pads adjoining, no fire rings that I saw. Bring bikes. From our site, it was less than 2 mile walk (or ride) on an improved path to the beach pavilion with restrooms and public beach (chair with umbrella rental $40 day or BYO). Some sites have a lake or canal view but very few offer shade. The sun is intense by 10am. Folks had separate canopies at their sites which is smart. Walmart and Rouses nearby. Papa Rocca’s for pizza or burgers. Rita’s for frozen custard. Glow Yoga nearby. Book 12 months ahead - we reserved for a week next year.

Well maintained state park on Lake Catherine across from a power plant we deemed the industrial cathedral. There is a hum, more prominent near sites 60+. Most of the campsites are lake view with FHU, and ours had a large yard and fishing pier, but marshy when it rained. And the geese… they wander the campsites and are cute at first; but the waste is everywhere. We enjoyed the moderate hiking trails, accessible from campground, and visited the small waterfall several times. The roads were hilly and not easy for (pedal) bikes. We would not stay lakeside again except for a raised site (54A) but would opt for hillside 11 or 9 - more private and no geese. We enjoyed a visit to Garvan Gardens and loved the Red Oak restaurant nearby. Good ATT service for remote working with hotspot. Overall, an enjoyable stay but not a 10.

We booked Pecan 220 - 30 amp full hookup - online 24 hours ahead, on our way to BBNP. We arrived after 5pm and site slip was on a clipboard at the entrance. I reserved the last spot in pecan loop since it was conveniently behind the office and a pull through for ease. We did not have to level blacktop site except a few inches on front. But… this loop is directly on a highway - can literally see both directions of traffic through the fence line brush. We are here for one night so the ease, price, site were what we needed. I would be super disappointed for a camping trip with the traffic noise in pecan loop. We did not wander to the other larger camping area or use amenities other than hookups. Would stay again for one night when passing through but try other area to compare.

There are three areas - campground A loop, main road that loops along the River and back, and tent sites near the woods. There are 3 stationary “rent an RV” with riverview decks. Linda called the day prior to check us in, verify final payment and give correct address 129 Bull Shoals Park Lakeview AR. Our site 51 had 30 amp with water, level, table and fire pit, on a small bluff, 50 yards from the river accessible by stairs, 3 sites down from boat landing store, 2 bar ATT (3 with MIMO) and long enough for 25’ and TV. Some of the sites are really short and tables on rear side. Lots of full hookup sites $38 riverside and across the road with river view. We switched to 59 full hookup backing up to tent area for extra night, level but less private.. Beware: bath house across from the store has bright night lighting. Bath houses were very clean. We hiked the 1.75 mile trail to a bluff, rented a boat (4 hrs $100) and had outstanding homemade pie from Gastons Lodge - A+. Dump station at exit. Pet friendly. The sites in area A are generous on a higher bluff, some with metal railing, lots of big rigs there. Only downsides to this lively SP are: main road has decent flow of vehicles all day; two lane winding mountain road from south. We were here for fall colors which made it near perfect. Booked 368 days ahead for next year and best sites were almost gone - grabbed 70 riverside.

This is a picturesque state park with most campsites and facilities on the lake. The lake was 4 feet lower due to maintenance (Feb 2022). Camping sites are Loop 1 (generally well spaced, hilly), Loop 2 (close quarters, boggy area near 42, 44), Straightaway (nice lake views across road, distant highway noise), and New Campground (generous space, concrete pads, tent camping area). Most of the sites have sloping yards (hilly) and our site 43 yard was a swell and a ditch with a burn patch (no fire ring). There are several fishing docks but no walking paths. This is a great park to chill out and enjoy the views (geese and pelicans during our stay). Great AT&T service with Netgear hotspot. Overall, an okay park but close enough drive for us to consider another long weekend stay. First choice sites for next visit are lake front Loop 1 or Straightaway for space and views.

We booked online and checked in online 24 hours prior to arrival. Easily found the park across from Far Flung Adventures. Gravel lot with three rows of long pull throughs, two with full hookups. Lots of big rigs. Pet friendly. The owners have 40 acres so plenty of space and plans to expand. We stayed in site 1, one of two end sites facing the mountain with fire pit, landscaping and a bench. We liked the location, dark skies, food options nearby. The camp wifi was so so - I used my ATT hotspot with good up/down to work and stream. We really enjoyed the area and our home base at RRT was exactly what we needed. We would definitely stay again in sites 10 or 1.
