We have a 29' trailer, and a 1 ton dually tow vehicle. We decided to escape the heat on Quartzsite, so we came north, and turned at Searchlight. We made it in to the old windmill area easily.
Coordinates 35.51, -115.05505. Quiet, only one other camper here, with very little noise from the highway. You can drive further north to Coordinates 35.51407, -115.05582. I took my trailer to this spot, but there were already 2 other campers there, so really no room for us to camp.
There are more sites further in, but definitely scout ahead to make sure you can get there.

35.539, -115.06778
35.54551, -115.07155
& the best one is not for anything but tent camping, & no car or truck should go here,
35.57993, -115.0534 We went here on an OHV. This spot is incredible, with views of mountains and valleys for miles. If I can figure out how to do it, I will add a picture or two of that view.
You will not be disappointed in this site, unless you don't like Joshua Trees. I rated it at 4 stars, because it doesn't hold very many campers/trailers.

We arrived here on July 5th. We thought it was going to be loaded with ATV riders, and we were pleased that it was not crowded. Very seldom did we encounter any other ATVs on the trails we were on. On Sunday, lots of the people pulled out to go back home, so our area of the campground was pretty empty. Campsite was reasonably level, with easy electric, water, and sewer hookup. No cable TV, and no reception on our antenna either. Camp hosts were all very pleasant and helpful when we asked about the riding trails. Local area map was pretty thorough, but could have included a little more info regarding some of the names of the trails. This campground sets next to the National Forest, and there are trails that take you to some of those roads, and adds many, many miles to how far you can ride your ATV. The campground seems to always have a County Sheriff around, so that gave a very secure feeling. The sheriffs even spend some time on the trails as part of their patrol. The sheriff's ATV has some cool lights & a siren. All of them were very pleasant and helpful with information on trails, roads, and directions.
The onsite restaurant is one that is only open seasonally, and this summer it wasn't open at all. When it is open, I understand that the food & milkshakes are good.
I believe the campground has WIFI, but we did not try to use that. Cell reception (Sprint) was pretty spotty. Most mornings I could receive and send texts, but in the afternoons, there was no reception. We do not have a Cell reception booster.
Tent camping is also allowed here, so the campground has several shower/restrooms. They were clean and modern, with no fee for use. There was one donation can if you felt the need to help with the free use of the facilities.
This campground is pretty much out in the middle of nowhere. 33 miles south of Heppner, OR, and the highway to get there is quite curvy. Approaching from Central Oregon, the last 50 miles includes many 25 and 30mph corners. There are even 2 that are 20 mph. If you are driving from the north, I think it's a lot better road.
The park was pretty quiet most of the time. We heard one log truck that went by every morning, that would hit his exhaust brake right when he went by. Fortunately it was usually after 8:00am, so probably not too many people sleeping.
We loved our stay here, and do plan to go back again.

Very well kept park, just off the highway to Bullhead City. Most of the sites are very level, and the park is nicely decorated with antique farm equipment. Trees are not large, and they don't interfere with getting into your campsite. Saundra, the host the first night, is so great to work with. She really seems to care, and is helpful to make sure you get into your proper site and situated. WIFI is a little weak at the campsite, but if you step into the office area, then it's just fine. The laundry facilities are clean, work well, and are a reasonable price. This park is 10 minutes from Kingman, which has most anything you might need. They have weekly rates, as well as monthly. We will definitely be staying here again. We stayed here in our 29' Stealth toy hauler, in April, 2018.

Camp hosts were all very polite and friendly. Walked us directly to our site, which was a nice sized pull-through. Site was very level, and long enough that we didn't need to disconnect to stay there. Small trees, green grass, and picnic table at every site. Power was consistent, & water pressure was great. We had full hookups. Campground had gasoline & diesel pumps, as well as they sold propane. Prices were a little higher than we usually pay, but sometimes any fuel price is better than risking running out. Their camping supply store covered several items that might be necessary in an out of the way place, and were very reasonably priced. We did not use the showers nor the laundry room. This campground is reasonably close to the Steen Mountain loop, and if you stay here, you simply must take a few hours and take that drive. Absolutely stunning scenery there. We drove our quads directly from our campsite to the west on some gravel and dirt roads, and had an enjoyable day riding. Even saw 3 herds of wild horses, totaling more than 100. Cell service was not so good with Sprint. We stayed here in our 2017 Stealth Toyhauler. We would definitely stay here again.

Easy to find place, with lots of room for each trailer or motorhome. The people in the office were very friendly, and helpful with suggestions when I asked about things to look for in the area. We didn't use the laundry facilities now the showers, but they looked nice when we checked on them. We had a very pleasant time here, and we would definitely stay here again when we are in the area. We stayed here in our 29' Toy hauler.

Stayed here due to mechanical troubles with our tow vehicle. Very pleasant owners, and they really will work with you if you have special needs. Check in was quick and easy. The power was good, water pressure great, and the sewer placement was good. They even had cable TV, with lots of channels. The spots were mostly back in, but there was lots of room to get lined up. We didn't use their laundry nor shower facilities, but as neat as everything else appeared, I would guess that would be acceptable as well. Although this is located right along the highway, the noise wasn't obtrusive at all. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here so we would be reasonably close to the Redwoods attractions. We were able to get a campsite without reservations, which was a surprise to me. Lots of the other campgrounds in the Crescent City area were full. Their regular price seemed a little steep, but they were running 20% discount for Father's Day, so that helped take some of the sting out. Our site actually had a small stream flowing near it, so that made it quite enjoyable to sit outside under the awning. They do have some sites without sewer hookup, and a nice dump station if that is what you do. This was an easy check-in, easy pull through spot, good water pressure, and they had cable TV connection with about 60 channels. The people in the office were friendly and informative on what to do in the area. We didn't check out the onsite showers nor the laundry room, but everything else seemed very modern and nicely maintained. Our area of the park lost power the morning before we checked out, but they got it back on after about an hour. We didn't ask what had happened, but noticed that there were some tree trimmers working in an area of nearby power lines, so it was probably turned off as a precaution. This park is located along Highway 199, so we could often hear traffic going by. Not noisy enough to bother though. We camped in our 29' toy hauler, and we would definitely stay here again.

Great campground. Sites are very level, easy to park your RV, and there is plenty of extra parking if needed. Relatively quiet, even though the main highway to Bend is close by. Large trees offer good shade. Water pressure was good, and power was very consistent. The manager was very laid back, and quick to help. Our stay here was all very pleasant. We did not use the park's restrooms nor showers. When you stay here, make sure you go to The Sisters Meat Market. Wonderful sandwiches, and great people that own and work here. We will definitely stay at this campground again. We stayed here in our 29' Stealth toy hauler.

Note, this rate was with Passport America. Several apparent permanent residents, but still several spots for travelers. Spots are very level, and easy to get into. Power was stable, & the water pressure was adequate. The 30 amp plug showed signs of getting too hot with someone's plug, but it still worked just fine. Laundry facility was reasonably clean, with 4 older washers and 4 older dryers, but they did a good job cleaning and drying. We didn't use the showers nor the restroom facilities, as we had our own. They did have a spot set up for washing vehicles, which I did use. They provided a faucet, a hose, a spray nozzle, and space to park while you washed. This was right next to a lemon tree, with the largest lemons I have ever seen. At least I assume those were lemons. There was a train that passed by not too far away at 8:00am on Friday. It was kind of loud, but it didn't wake up my wife, as she had earplugs in. There was no train on Saturday.
