Great new park 5 minutes from Salida. Lots are overly large with picnic table and gravel. Streets paved and easy access. Right on the Arkansa river with nice walking path and benches to sit by the river. Check in easy and staff great! Reese, the maintenance guy, was an amazing help when we had an issue with our power plug. Only complaint was the lack of dumpsters. Only one at the main lodge.

This was a great overnight while traveling. Called into the store the day before and they were fine for us to stay, didn't need to check in on arrival. Very large parking lot next to Sams Club and outlet mall and very well lite. If you have a large rig, ours is 44 ft, enter via the outlet mall through the cut through street. The entrance into Bass Pro is TOO SMALL!

Beautiful park; wide roads, concrete pads with concrete sitting area and picnic table. Facilities are new and very nice; multiple pools, bathrooms and showers. Only thing I didn’t like was in the “new section” in the back of the park there are large rocks, not grass, between sites. Rocks hard to walk on and nowhere for dogs to pee. But they do have a very large dog park! Next time I’ll request up front where there is grass between lots. Staff very friendly and will take you to your site.

A gem of a state park just east of Beckley, West Va. Drive in on Rt 307 off 64 was steep and curvy, we made it in a 44 ft motorhome; just go slow. Check in was easy, go all the way into the park to the campground, another winding road. About 25 water/electric sites tucked in the trees with gravel and fire pit. Site 19 fit our large rig fine but most sites were smaller. Bathhouse was clean and convenient, staff were nice and helpful. So many hikes in this park right from the campground. The trail map was not good so use AllTrails or any other hiking app to avoid getting lost. Park is about 45 minutes from New River Gorge Bridge, a must do visit. Verizon was good but unable to access satellite TV due to tree cover. Didn't rate a 5 just because no sewer hookups but dump station easy to access. Will definitely return!

This campground is very large, I think 400 sites to include tent sites. Road is paved, sites are dirt and dusty with a firepit. Check in was very difficult as we have a large 44 foot rig so driving around to find a site that we would fit was awful. The people who work there are awesome especially Bret, one of the guys who helped us was amazing. We finally got a site but the 50 amp was not working so limped on 30 amp. In fact, we had several days where there was no electricity as they tried to fix it. There were about 15 RVs impacted. The management at the campground was great and compensated us for the difficult check in and the site that was not our reservation commitment. Fellow RVers very friendly and the location of this campground is perfect to see all of Lake Tahoe. Our price was through RPI so less than the normal fee. We are self contained so didn't use restrooms, but they looked average and I saw people cleaning them.

Nice park and very close to downtown Austin, 10 minutes. It's a Sun RV Resort property and staff very friendly and received a gift of a doggie poop bag holder and a small "makeup size" bag with hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and two masks...WOW! (need to wear a mask in the office; Austin requires masks in all businesses) Was led to our site which was a pull thru site and our 44 foot rig, with toad, had plenty of room. The park has lots of trees which is great for a hot Texas town. Sites are gravel and ours was very level; really didn't need the jacks. Didn't use laundry or pool, but they looked fine; clean. A few permanent RV residents, but condition on most was fine and we expect that now in most parks. Met a few visitors walking and everyone was very friendly. This park has a locked gate, code needed. Really liked that as it's right off the frontage road of I-35. Entrance/road is under construction which made the entrance off the road a little difficult. We didn't use wifi, but I saw several wifi receivers in the park. A past post made a great suggestion, request a site in the back, sites 32-35, 62-66 or 87-90, this will reduce the I-35 noise.

We are Thousand Trails members so free stay! This park could be amazing, but it’s not. On a beautiful lake, park is large and spots have lots of room. However, like many TTs, the roads are run down, not many 50amp, sites, unlevel and tree limbs low. However, staff was amazing! Greeter at gate was helpful and so nice. Park manager found us parking and directed us to a 50 amp and he and maintenance guy cut a low hanging limb so we could get in. A seasonal told us new manager wanted to improve things; hope that happens but we will be back. We have a 44 foot motorhome.

We have a 44 foot motorhome and getting in and out was easy and site large with grass and plenty of space to park our jeep. You do need to unhook your tow but there is a space right outside the entrance you can do that. We made the mistake of unhooking on the main road, no need to do that. As others stated, resort is a 5 minute walk to French Quarter and I felt very safe in the park due to large concrete wall and locked gate. You are very close to the highway so bring your noise canceling machine :) Warning...due to COVID, New Orleans and French Quarter are empty and most restaurants have limited hours. It was very strange the lack of people. Even Jackson Square is padlocked closed. Lots of homeless around and felt a little uneasy walking around. Wouldn't be there at night during this time.

We were in Livingston to set up domicile for full time RV life. We are using Escapees for mail service and other domicile activity so there for 12 days. (rate is based on weekly fee of $200) So glad we stayed here vs at the Escapees RV park. Woodsy Hollow is very wooded and sits on a small lake. Park is about 15 minutes from downtown Livingston, Escapees office and local Walmart. Our site, #32, was amazing! 20 feet away from the lake on a small point. We squeezed in our 44 footer and so glad we did! We were basically by ourselves except for a few weekend visitors. They have a dock with kayaks you can use and we did some bass fishing; caught a few small ones. Laundry was clean but very basic, pool was clean. Didn't use the wifi, but could pick up stations on our satellite. Shirley, the manager, was nice and helpful. This is not a fancy park. Roads are not paved, sites are natural and have roots running through them. Several permanite rigs and a few in not so good condition but none near us. Don't let that sway you away from this park. The shade, lake and few people won us over; we'll stay again when in Livingston!

Typical Thousand Trails, very few sewer sites, sites small and unlevel and faculties and condition of sites are run down. We have a 44 ft motorhome and could get through the dirt streets but not many lots available. It’s a very large park and only half the sites are 50 amp. Verizon was poor and unable to get satellite. I don’t know what TT doesn’t upgrade their parks. Not worth the membership!!
