Salida RV Resort

Amazing RV resort in a prime location (2.5 miles from Salida - take the railroad tracks to town if you prefer to walk). All sites are level/gravel with full hookups. Our spot (#129) was along the Arkansas River. Quiet, clean glamping resort with paved roads. Starlink worked great.

Spent a week at Salida RV Resort. This is a new Park, and quite large. Located about a mile outside of town, it does have a gravel path into town, for biking or hiking into town without accessing the highway.

Sites are large and very wide for a motorhome, some sites are pull-though but most are back-in. Gravel/crushed asphalt/crushed granite make up the sites.

Located on the Arkansas River, the dog park and pickleball courts are right on the river, with a nice walking path throughout the park. There is a small put-in for kayaks too.

The streets are paved, and there is a nice office/community house with showers/bathrooms. The laundry has 5 washers and dryers.

Salida has a great downtown area with lots of dining and shopping choices. They have a fabulous Farmers Market on Saturdays, and there is always something to do.

Great new park 5 minutes from Salida. Lots are overly large with picnic table and gravel. Streets paved and easy access. Right on the Arkansa river with nice walking path and benches to sit by the river. Check in easy and staff great! Reese, the maintenance guy, was an amazing help when we had an issue with our power plug. Only complaint was the lack of dumpsters. Only one at the main lodge.

They advertise high speed optical internet.
Well the wifi was 2 -10M bit, but it constantly disconnected my phones and my streaming device. Unusable.

I was hoping I could work from this campsite, but that is not the case. I would have expected 30-50Mbps with no dropping, at a minimum.

We stayed here two separate times in the last month and both stays were great. Brand new common area with laundry, showers, etc. The staff was very nice and accommodating as well. They have a nice dog park in a river that surrounds the location and everything is very nicely kept up. Very close to town and mountain bike trails.
