We showed up and everything was nice with the store out front, you could already see that people live in this park. There was a pool as well. Once you get in there, the corners are extremely tight and I’m surprised we got our 42’ rig through it. The streets are extremely small with little room to pass through them and campers are packed in, more like full timers. My husband is a professional driver so he made it through but we did hit some low hanging branches. There was even a large dumpster in the road that my husband had to maneuver around. If you’re in a pinch, maybe, but we didn’t even stay the night. And there’s a casino down the street that’s much nicer. There’s 20/30 amp electric but seemed shotty and water but we didn’t hook up. There’s also a guy on the property who’ll dump your black and gray tanks for $10 but again didn’t do that, just sharing information we received from the owner.

Loved this campground. From the nicest owners to the sites with privacy even if you’re in a pull through. There are bushes on each side that are 6 feet tall and maybe even taller. There’s a small game arcade with a pool table and air hockey for the kids. If you own a power sport motor vehicle, this is your stop. You can access the dunes from the campground. We went a mile down the street to rent a side by side to hit the dunes and then spent the rest of the evening down town Florence for some delicious food and cute shops. Oh and the bridge you drive across to get to Florence is just breathtaking, especially in the fog. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Really nice spot.

The staff is extremely nice and it’s nice to have a small convenience store within the park as well. Conveniently located between Portland and Salem with easy access to the interstate.

We had a wonderful stay here. It was beautiful to walk through the campground and just a short distance walk to the beach. There are also nature trails close by which we’re beautiful. Be careful walking your dogs on the path by the beach, lots of sandspurs.

Unfortunately our stay here wasn’t the best, it rained the entire time and was freezing cold. The nature trail was super nice to walk around but we got to do that once when we arrived because the rest of the time we were there it rained which made the trail impassible. It’s a beautiful park with a small lake and some cabins. Very conveniently located to Niagara Falls and the on-site store had plenty of essentials so you likely didn’t need to go to a grocery store.

Not super big rig friendly but it can be done. We’re 42’ DP with a Jeep in tow and we made it and I’m so glad we did. What a beautiful campground. It was wonderful to take our dog on a walk around the park. Would stay here again.

This place made me feel at home. From the pool to the spa to the owners to our neighbors. Centrally located to downtown Sturgis, Deadwood, Rapid City and about an hour and a half drive to the Badlands.

Wow wow wow. This place was love at first site. Spacious sites and all right next to the lake. It was wonderful to run and take the dog on walks around the lake. I could easily live here, haha. It’s almost as if no cities exist on the other side of the hill at this park but sure enough, St Louis is just a short drive away. Would definitely stay here again and again and again…
We stayed here for almost 3 weeks in June/July 2022. Of course with 1 day parked somewhere else as to not break the 15 consecutive day rule. This place did not feel like we were in a metropolitan area as you can barely tell you’re near a big city. Noise from 84? Never heard it. Though it was very windy, it was a blessing when we stayed there. It was 80-85 inland but thanks to the wind, this campground kept cool. But also, thanks to the wind, our slide topper ripped which sucks but this happens. We would definitely stay here again as it’s reasonably priced considering its location and the other options that are at least an hour away.
