We were in a pinch and this location delivered. We have a 42’ motorhome with a Jeep Wrangler in tow and they had a pull through spot on a Saturday night. It was easy to get to, great directions from the staff and we had quiet neighbors. The only issue we faced was the one cherry plum tree on our way out of the site that wasn’t cut back far enough. Luckily we were able to maneuver around it. There is no cell service, wifi is spotty at best, no picnic tables but would definitely stay here again for an overnighter.

We came in on a Sunday in October and the campground was half full. By Monday there were maybe 10 campers and it felt as though we had the entire campground to ourselves. It was wonderful. But by Thursday, people started rolling in which we were happy about. Though it was nice having the whole place to ourselves, we welcomed the company. By Friday, the entire campground was full and people were decorating their golf carts for the golf cart parade that night. Campers were also setting up their haunted houses or themed camps for the trick or treaters which was to take place Saturday night. It was a site to see and it was all so much fun. That is likely why people have mentioned all the candy wrappers on the ground. Booking this campground was actually by accident because we meant to be closer to Louisville but it was the best mistake I’ve ever made. We will definitely be coming back here in October to partake in the Halloween festivities again. Just make sure to book early and reserve your golf cart!

We showed up and everything was nice with the store out front, you could already see that people live in this park. There was a pool as well. Once you get in there, the corners are extremely tight and I’m surprised we got our 42’ rig through it. The streets are extremely small with little room to pass through them and campers are packed in, more like full timers. My husband is a professional driver so he made it through but we did hit some low hanging branches. There was even a large dumpster in the road that my husband had to maneuver around. If you’re in a pinch, maybe, but we didn’t even stay the night. And there’s a casino down the street that’s much nicer. There’s 20/30 amp electric but seemed shotty and water but we didn’t hook up. There’s also a guy on the property who’ll dump your black and gray tanks for $10 but again didn’t do that, just sharing information we received from the owner.

Yes, this is located outside of a sketchy part of town. Yes, the woman manager has communication issues and yes, she weirdly drives around with her dog and stops in front of campsites but she doesn’t bother you, I’m sure she’s just doing her job. Regardless of that, we would absolutely stay here again. This campground is quiet and absolutely beautiful, has spacious sites, there are benches along the river you can sit at and the gentleman that owns the place is a very nice man. Very close to downtown Memphis and to the Bass Pro pyramid which I highly recommend you check out.

We stayed in 5 and had a riverfront spot. It was beautiful! No sewer hookups in those spots but other sites had them, we did have water and electric. The staff was super friendly and helped us out in a pinch when we had to have a late checkout. They have two areas that you can let your dog off leash which was wonderful as our pup loves to roam free and smell everything. It’s a 30 minute drive to Crater Lake and there’s a local gas station nearby which was nice. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this campground, it had 2 pools, bocce ball courts, horseshoes, pickle ball and tennis courts, poker, a quite large library compared to most I’ve seen. Seems like most are full timers but grounds are very well kept and they pick up your trash each morning. We loved how big this campground was so that we could walk our dog for a while. Agreed with the other review that it was a bit overpriced and it did suck having to call the office each time we wanted to get in the gate but never had an issue with it. It was

We had a wonderful stay here. It was beautiful to walk through the campground and just a short distance walk to the beach. There are also nature trails close by which we’re beautiful. Be careful walking your dogs on the path by the beach, lots of sandspurs.

The staff is extremely nice and it’s nice to have a small convenience store within the park as well. Conveniently located between Portland and Salem with easy access to the interstate.

We loved this campground. Small and quaint, trees everywhere but still enough sun to come through on our site so I could soak in some rays. Well kept grounds, 3 ponds with a gazebo on one and a swinging chair on another. Dog poo bag and trash stations everywhere. They had a small library in the office which was nice. Very friendly staff. Pool with color changing lights, a dog wash station and a clean laundry station.
