Called at last minute and got an overflow spot with water and electricity under a tree. It was quiet at night with only the distant sound of a train. Looks like there are full time residents living here. The bath house was clean, shower was ok and hit with low flow but acceptable. Toilets tended to back up a bit and required double flush. Would stay here again.

Came in late after dark so we had no hopes of finding a real spot. So we just found a wide pull off and enjoyed the quiet. The next morning we awoke and saw the beauty around us. Very soon we saw a line of dune buggies heading into the area and realized it was time to go. Not bad for a free night.

Stayed one night. Fairly quiet is spite of closeness to 145. Jimmy at the desk was very informative about the area. The bathroom was the best I have seen in my two weeks of travel they were recently remodeled. Sites were on a hill buy fairly level. Our internet was spotty.

We planned to dry camp with a friend near a spot close to the White Sands NP. Our Sprinter is new and we are still working out the bugs. At the dry camp we discovered our water pump would not work so we needed to scramble for an RV Park with hook ups. Luckily Brandi was very responsive and gave us a good discounted rate. However, we found that while we had water and power we had no black water dump. No problem so we thought since the description shows dump on site. We pulled in late that night in a secluded area as described by Brandi which turned out to be along the Fenceline parallel to HWy 54. You can imagine the road noise. The next day we were ready for a shower so we headed to two of the ones noted on the maps but only one was available. No worries, the water was hot but the shower but was in need of repair and renovation. Upon exiting the hut we met Tom, the site manager who brought us power supply adapter the night before. He was a highlight for us, friendly and drew us a map of the local sites. Every day we saw him doing a lot of maintenance and once he mentioned the owners we're planning some big changes. The park needs it. It appears the majority of sites are full timers based on their site decorations. The road noise was a huge downer and we had to find ear plugs to be able to sleep. Another negative was the dump site. While there was one near the manager's trailer he suggested that we "just find an open spot" and use that one. Luckily there was exactly one available site on the grounds.

Nice place off of 40. Thought we would have more road noise but no so much. The owners are delightful! Loved Lexie the Scottie dog. The antique campers on display indicted how much attention to detail is placed in this park. The showers and restrooms were clean and hospitable. The gift shop was loaded with Route 66 gifts and objects to buy. The owner also has quite a collection of old camper memorabilia! Will definitely stay here again. There are a few extended stay residents but this did not hamper our stay.

We arrived after 6pm and office closed but our reservation info was clearly left on the board. Campsite is right off 70 and in spite of this it was quiet. The neighbors were friendly enough but overall the site is pretty basic, no obvious amenities. Shower restrooms were old but clean. We slept with windows open for awhile until the cattle stench became too overwhelming. We were looking forward to having coffee in the Cafe in the morning but it was closed even at 8:45. Beware of the stickers everywhere and walk on the gravel road. We might stay here again.

Overnight stay was perfect near a tree. Easy in and out. Showers were decent and water warm. Great friendly Staff. It was decorated all over for Halloween. The rain overnight was a relief for the slight highway noise.

Got here after dark on a very cold night. Found our site quickly and loved that there were few other campers in Sagebrush Campground. Had to use the furnace overnight but slept well. Woke up late and had coffee then noticed a Cardinal outside our rig trying to catch water drops from our water hose. After cleanup we ordered lunch at a nearby gift shop. A quick stop at the visitor center was enlightening as we learned all about the native Americans that once thrives in the canyons. We will definitely come back for a longer stay to hike and take photos.

Got here after dark and found lots of open spaces. Chose one and hooked up. There were only a few larger rigs when we woke up in the morning but no one close to us. Quite foggy morning. Surrounded by lots of trees and nature trail. After morning coffee we walked one of the shorter trails and saw lots of lichen and mushrooms, quite pretty. We ended up at the restrooms and showers and peeked in. Both rooms were sweltering with heaters on full blast. The women's toilet smelled horrible and the showers were quite dirty and wet slimy so we opted not to shower here. Once we figured out the dump station we prepared to leave. As I was waiting I saw a group of about 8 men starting their game of disc golf in the tree area right behind our rig. Good thing we were leaving since their aim was not always right on. Plus they were very loud. We left and cleaned out and refilled at the exit. No attendant at the entrance but we left our fee in an envelope. I might stay here again in a pinch just because of the woody area which is inviting at night.

Arrived after dark but had a close spot with all hook ups. Had a great night sleep with a little rain to lull us to sleep. Next morning left to visit near by Falls Creek Falls.
