This is an older RV park that is part of a larger recreation park. It is bordered by residential housing on two sides.
The RV sites are reasonably spread out. There are only a couple pull-through sites, and most sites could not handle anything larger than 30 feet. The electric and water hookups always service two sites from one pole.
Be aware that many of the sites will flood in the rainy seasons.
Consider the bathhouse to NOT be an option, it is the worst we have encountered.
The dump station is outside the RV area (outside the gates). There is an older dump station by the guard house that shouldn't be used; there is a much newer dump station far enough away from the guard house that it could be used without fees by less than honest people.
The walking trails that are part of the larger Acadiana Park are very pleasant in January.
Paid $28 per night, no discounts offered for anything.
