It was quiet at night with only the distant sound of a train. Looks like there are full time residents living here. The bath house was clean, shower was ok and hit with low flow but acceptable. Toilets tended to back up a bit and required double flush. Would stay here again.

We camped here to break up our trip to the north Georgia mountains. We chose this campground because they had cable hookups and we wanted to watch the final round of the Masters golf tournament. The facilities were adequate and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, most of the occupants were long-term residents that were on the seedy side. Our neighbor across the way came and went all night long in his loud diesel truck for who knows what. Some other neighbors looked like drug dealers. In a nutshell.....we did not feel safe. If we ever stay here again (probably won't), we will definitely chose the transient sites which are towards the front area of the campground and are well lighted at night.

Gravel sites with paved roadways. Front section of campground for transient campers. Rear section for permanent sites. Several permanent sites need a makeover. A couple of units need to be removed before they fall down. Bathrooms cleaned 2x per day. Never had hot water in bathhouses. Lukewarm at best. WiFi intermittent. Few other choices in area. Would stay again for one or two-day stop.

Paid $34 for a single night stay after our Good Sam discount. Full hookups (50amp, water, sewer). Level sand/gravel site with plenty of room to maneuver on the roads and on the site. Not too close to our neighbors. We were one of the front sites (B2) but didn't really have that much traffic past us.
There was a bit of noise from airplanes passing overhead throughout the night, but it didn't really bother us. It's a little ways off the freeway but not a bad drive into downtown. About 30 minutes to the Congaree national park so we made this a central location to check out a few things in the area.

We are a fulltime traveling family and stayed on our travels from Florida to Ohio during Covid-19. We were able to reserve, pay and directed to our site all over the phone. The site was nice. It was a Pull-in, full hook-up and mostly level Site. My kids felt safe walking the pond and seeing the turtles. The campground was very respectful of social distancing. We would definitely stay here again.

I passed through Columbia, SC to buy a kayak and needed a spot to stay. There were not many options so I took what I could get. This place wasn't bad but like any other big complex, it's a place to park and stay for the night if you like more adventurous, scenic spots. Great WIFI, cell service. Staff were nice and people at the campground were friendly. Spot wasn't 100% level but just put a block under one wheel and I was fine. Looks like there was a flea market on weekends next door.

There are numerous long term residents, but the transient sites were near the front, pull through and level with full hookups, good WiFi and cable (We didn’t use the cable.) Every site has a picnic table and almost, if not all, has a tree of some sort. Everything looks to be well maintained. Bathhouse was clean and consisted of individual rooms with shower, sink and toilet. There is a playground and a shady dog park. Office staff and campers we met were all friendly. There is a grocery store about a 5 minute walk away. The only drawback was no privacy between the rather closely spaced sites. This makes a great place to stop from either I 20 or I 26.

Short term camping up front, long term in back. Clean facilities and level lots. Full hookups and pull thru. Bit of train and airline noise but not substantial

Needed an overnight on our way to Myrtle Beach. Barnyard was at our half way point. I called to book and was told the only availability they had was in the overflow section, which did not have sewer. No biggy since it was a one night stay. When we arrived we were told they had a cancellation and we had been moved to a full hook up, pull thru-site. A nice, very accommodating surprise.
I was afraid based on the first couple hours that it would be noisy, but by 10 pm it was quiet. The lot was level enough that we didn’t unhook from the truck.
