A private well managed C/G at the city's edge next to the Trace. Owners also knowledgable about RV repairs and systems. They have a nice C/G and sites are large enough for easy maneuvering.
This section of the Trace is easy to explore from here. The city has a number of good restaurants and shopping. Tupelo is only 20 miles from the COE places on the Tombigbee River.

We stayed here for several days as we explored the Tupelo area. The parking sites are level and nicely compacted with gravel. The park is hilly keeps the RVs from being parked right next to each other but they have ensured easy access and level parking.
The power and water was good. Everything was clean. There was good shopping close by and the Tupelo downtown is worth visiting. If you go downtown, make sure to stop and see Tupelo Hardware. It has EVERYTHING a hardware store should have.
There are great bike trails nearby. We road the Tanglewood Trail from Ecru to New Albany. It is a well maintained asphalt rails-to-trails pathway. Great food in New Albany.

This stay was last minute decision. Host was very friendly. Very clean, and quiet park. Rate reflects good Sam discount.

Not far from I 22, close to main roads. But in the woods and relatively quiet, paved roads level gravel sites, pull thru available. Full hookups including cable and WiFi.
We called around noon and were able to reserve a site for two nights, arrived after office hours so our map to site was in the rack by the door. Cash or check only. While doable the interior roads wind a bit and campground is on a hill / slope. Our 39 ft MH w car on tow dolly did fine.

Overall nice campground... just make sure to get a site close to the office. Campground host was extremely nice and helpful. Just a few watch outs...the main road getting to the park can be busy with traffic moving fast; the shower room had minim air conditioning and was hot (we were there in July), the back sites had virtually no shade.

Even though we were only there for a night, everything about the place felt right. The owner was very congenial and accommodating.
Full hookup, level site, what's not to like? Even decent WiFi!

This is a small, hilly cg situated in a rural setting. The sites are gravel, and ours was reasonably level. We're winterized so it didn't matter, but the water spigot was very low to the ground, and we wondered how difficult it would be to hook up. The bathhouse situation was awful, though. The men's bathroom was closed, so the only access to a bathroom was the women's bathroom. A sign posted on the door advised people to lock the door so in effect only one person at a time (in an almost full campground) could use the bathhouse. Management did dump the trash regularly, and the sinks and showers were clean. But the toilets (in our two-day stay) were often dirty.

Great stop over. We stayed 2 days. WiFi was amazing and we were able to stream our favorite shows. Clean campground with gravel sites that are mostly level. Friendly staff.
