We love Natchez Trace State park! The Cub Lake campground is great for smaller campers, and tents. The sites are ok, reasonably level and very clean, but not always easy to get into. Campground host was very nice and helpful. Power and water at the site, dump station at the entrance gate. Short walk away is the lake and a foot bridge leading to the swimming area and paddle boat rental. Most sites are shaded. Did see a very large coyote wander thru the campground, so watch your pets

Hard to beat, $20 for an overnight spot with electric, access to water and dump, and easy walk to restaurants and bathrooms. A little road noise, but that would be expected

Friendly hosts, super clean bathrooms, host escorts you to your site, fast internet. Reasonably priced. Met our needs perfectly. We will come here again

Absolutely hands down, the nicest, cleanest,National forest camping I have yet to experience. The staff at checkin were super friendly, and helpful. Our site was super clean and well cared for. The bathrooms were literally the cleanest I think I have ever seen in a public place. I had only scheduled enough time to stay one night, but will certainly be coming back.

We needed a easy overnight stop while traveling on I-57, and this fit the bill perfectly! No reservation, but plenty of open sites, (middle of September) very peaceful, beautiful lake, and the campground host where we checked in at was super friendly and helpful. We saw so many deer as we drove through the park, and that was really nice. We are already planning on coming back for a longer visit.

We stopped here for one night while traveling, is nicely laid out, very nice sites. Short walk to the showers/ washrooms. Just past the shower house is a small diner that had incredible food. Location is easy to reach from the Highway and well worth the visit

Didn’t want to keep pushing on, and found this little gem. Quiet, clean, friendly host. Clean washroom/ showers. Perfect spot for the night. Will definitely stop here again
