As a workamper. I was charged $275 per month more per month that the seasonal people. I reserved the spot for two months, but was assured that I would only owe the balance of the first month's rent after a $200 deposit of $575. When I checked in they attempted to remove $1400 from my bank account. Fortunately my card was declined, but before I could figure out why they snatched the card reader back and entered the proper amount. My bank notified me the next day. This park has a very high water table and some of the permanent rv's are constantly in standing water. In the morning if the wind is just right, there is a distinct odor of manure. It is a very big park and not beautiful, but they do cut the grass. While I was at work someone used a weedeater around my spot and put a hole in my gray water hose. The threads on the sewer ground connection were stripped and the water faucet dripped. For the locals this is a family-oriented park with a pool, showers, camp store and kidder train ride. I did not enjoy my stay because I felt their very first act was that of an unscrupulous vendor.

This is a gorgeous, don't miss Campground. Everything you could want. Towards the lake ithe favored rv spaces are a little closer together. The road or is paved if a little bumpy.
Mississippi is a true gem in our country.

This is an excellent secluded place if you are vannning, class b or tenting.. I f you have a big rv, don't go.

When I went into Bland to find the trailheads, a couple of events convinced me that I was being followed by locals who recognized I was from out of town and intended to park my vehicle and walk away for a few hours. If it doesn't feel right, leave. I am disappointed but returned to this lovely park where I felt safe. The electrical sites are six more dollars, but I am set up for dry camping and used the camp shower houses.

The campsites are private.

Road noise from the freeway doesn't bother me. The area is generally clean. The camp host was very informative and the scenery is beautiful. I am very happy with my solar installation at discount Sar down the block. There were a lot of help wanted signs like a person could come here, stay in the ltva and work for the season. The transfer station for garbage was 2 miles up 95 north, open maybe three early week days and free. All the people were friendly and non-intrusive. People that come to Quartzsite always come back.

I love this little no amenities park. the bathrooms are spotless

This place was quiet with very few other campers. It is back far off enough of hwy 95 that there is no noise. The gravel road is good. Although sometimes it is not wide enough for two vehicles to pass. In going in I met a fifth wheel that I turned off the road to allow it to pass. I spent the days in solitude. The other rvs were barely visible. It's you want space and quiet. This is a good place to go.

There were a lot of people, but the sites are so spread out that it is not at all crowded. Peace and privacy is plentiful. Monday morning saw the place empty out. I found that if you drive 12 mph or less the dust stays down. Warning when continuing on toward the refuge the road takes a very large dip. SinceI am new with my rpod, I was glad I had stopped before this. However on into t g e wilderness there were a couple of larger trailers and class a's that made it.

I checked out Pilot Knob but decided to keep moving on - I went the other way. Less than one mile on the north side of the freeway just past the sign 'welcome to sidewinder pass' on the left side was dispersed camping for free. Quiet with widely spaced campers. Such a beautiful place.
